Swing and a miss for Darwin.

The house clearly belongs to some octogenarians. What this does is save their children (or grandchildren) from having to remodel that particular room before selling the house.

I worked for a supplier to Nissan when the newest model was launching. Nissan insisted that we be capable of supporting 90,000 vehicles per year, then they upped that to something like 115,000 (I can’t remember exactly). Everyone (read: us and other suppliers) knew there was no way in hell they were going to move that

I wear a Timex that has similar features that cost me $100. But it doesn’t expressly inform everyone around me that my car is a manual, but I will inform them of such going forward (because it is). Total savings: $313,400 (excluding TTL). And I get better gas mileage.

Hell no.

For half that, I’d buy it and Coyote swap it. It would be a sleeper. In more ways than one.

Fake news. Everyone knows that steel is impervious to heat/fire.

Last year, we were driving across S. Dakota where the speed limit is 80 mph. Like stated above, I figured 85 would be appropriate (I have a lead foot anyway and was excited at the prospect). I ran that fast for maybe a mile and thought to myself “this is dumb, dangerous, I’m wasting gas, and the engine cannot enjoy

I got lucky and bought my car two years ago. I got 2.75% fixed through my credit union (my credit is SuperPrime).

This is one of the myriad reasons I carry a backup credit card.

Maybe if they also summarily crushed said e-bikes people would get the hint.

“Space Trump.” I’m totally using this.

The Buick Encore. Someone took an economy car and attempted to SUV it. The end result is something that looks like a roller skate. I’m sure it’s a fine vehicle for some people but I just don’t see the point of it. It’s too small to haul or tow anything but it’s tall enough to get crappy fuel economy (compared with a

My Miata has been sitting on jack stands for over a year because I hate drilling out spot welds. Once I finish those, I get to do the fun stuff (welding in new metal), I just can’t get motivated.

Buy a Harbor Freight welder and get after it! That will be enough to get you started until you’re ready to graduate so a more serious Lincoln/Hobart/Miller rig. And you can then sell the HF one to someone else.

Transmission repair and overhaul. So near as I can tell, they work due to black magic. That goes for real ones and automatics.

To be fair, Miata is always the answer, for better or worse.

The Bugatti Chiron. Only the 0.001% can afford them and they mostly just sit (or get shown off to impress... whomever) because there’s nowhere to actually uncork their potential.

I am going to steal “Weapons grade crazy” for my personal vernacular

Same. I’d pay $10k for this car with a clean title.
