I’d agree, except he looks like he skips leg days altogether.

Completely true.

Threatt would be hated in today’s analytics. All I remember is him shooting 20 ft shots off the dribble, ie the worst shot by analytic standards.

He’s 18... why would I care?

We just did this on a family trip. It was kind of awkward, but we were the only group on the tour and I wasn’t the one to set it up. All the adults had a beer afterward and all the kids watched us. But for us, the ‘kids’ were all between 16-20. We had 4 ‘adults’ as part of this group of ‘children’. Our drinking laws

Well, my kids are 17-18 now. So they’re my DDs at this point. I pay their insurance, the least they can do is drive me home every other month or so.

Exactly, control your kids. I controlled mine when they were young, now I want nothing do with your kids. But honestly, I don’t know if I’ve just avoided places with children or have just learned to ignore them, because I rarely go out and have noisy children bugging me. This included breweries/brewpubs.

I have kids. I have family in CO. I’ve visited my family in CO with my kids, and I’ve done a bunch of breweries with the kids. Was it optimal? not really. But we got to see a lot of the area between Loveland and Boulder with destinations in mind instead of just driving aimlessly.

At least they’re trying. There have always been juggernaut teams in the NBA, but if everyone punted on the seasons we’d have no ‘surprise’ champions.

‘The Process’ was designed in hopes of something like that occurring. But when it did actually happen, they couldn’t actually get the pieces developed properly before the cap scared them off. If they hadn’t been married to the idea of a traditional lineup, and had tried the small ball movement before the Warriors

I like the Chris Paul move because both he and Harden can be off the ball scorers. Allows for staggering of minutes, but both can play together, and as you said, Chris Paul is a great defender.

Well, the appeal of old school type ESPN Sportscenter is flipping it on and having it in the background while I make dinner. Anything that requires more work than that is sort of defeating the purpose as far as I’m concerned.

My teenage years, coming home from school and flipping between MTV and ESPN. No music was ever on that I liked, but still..

This is how ESPN went from a staple of my formative years to being actively avoided. Why doesn’t somebody try something new and novel and try being ESPN of the 90s? Show sports, show highlights, show breaking news and keep the stupid ‘takes’ away from me.

I said 4-5 yrs.

A bit disingenuous to state ‘their two best players got injured’ as they were never healthy in the first place.

Rambis keeps getting work. It is honestly kind of amazing.

I have watched a fair amount of basketball, and especially the Lakers over my lifetime. Granted, I am a ball watcher and even when I try to watch off the ball movement, I get distracted after 2 possessions (at most, usually not even close to that long) but those early 2000s Lakers had Shaq in the post. It really

Deadspin has gone a bit overboard with the anti process stuff, but they are correct about one thing: hinkie sold a process and not results.

Sort of, but the Lakers also had to suck in order to keep their picks. They traded off a bunch of future firsts for a last chance at a title, and when that team fell apart, they had to tank due to pick protections just to have any chance at rebuilding. Nets aren’t tanking, they just sacrificed any future hope they
