When Capcom made sf3 with a whole new cast, people disliked the series in the beginning. SF3 does have some stereotypes in it, but overall it had some very unique characters: what race is Q supposed to be? Urien? Necro is a mutant, and Oro is supposed to be of japanese decent but you would never guess that.
