No clue.  I try and go out to the bars whenever AnthroCon is in Pittsburgh.  They’re always a lot of fun to hang out with and I like to be friendly to them, because I’m sure they encounter a lot of morons.

With all of these launchers, we’re gonna need XFire to come back.  Too many friends lists.

Yeah, my wife’s grandparents used to own a “party store” in Pittsburgh. They were from Royal Oak originally, so they may have brought that with them.

It’s been the same result on two separate occasions at two different Best Buys.  Once with an all-in-one, and once with a laptop.

I said in another reply, Best Buy has gotten very strict about what they take.  They wouldn’t take an old laptop because I pulled the hard drive out of it.

If it’s broken, I waste their time, my time, and it ends up in a landfill anyhow. If whatever it may be is in working order, giving it to some one  or selling it are my first choices. I was trying to illustrate that it’s not always that easy.

Best buy is very picky about what they recycle regarding PC’s, and AFAIK they don’t take TV’s.  I believe they try and refurb as much as they can.

I would if the company who collects mine would actually take any electronics without charging a ridiculous fee. Instead, I have to go to a collection center 45 mins away during regular business hours and drop stuff off.  No, they’ll be sold, set on the curb with a “Free” sign, or thrown out.

You’re half right. Creation Engine is built on top of a Gamebryo skeleton. According to most, this is a different engine. The issue people have are with issues that are in that skeleton that have never been addressed. Here’s a good post from 2 years ago detailing the differences/similarities between the two.
