I have a regular Xbox One controller and an Elite for my PC, and have had a ton of 360 controllers through the years and never had the batteries pop out from putting the controller down. Maybe if one were to smash it against the floor/table, which if one is doing, one might need some anger management, or find another…

The built in battery in the DS4 is my only complaint with the controller. How could that remotely be a “plus”? I had to replace my launch DS4's simply because the batteries are pretty much shot instead of just using rechargeable AA’s or some sort of battery pack like the Xbox controllers.

I keep trying to get my friends out of PUBG. I don’t understand how they’re still playing that broken mess of a game. I did get some of them to grab Vermintide 2 though.

I never played the first game, but a group of friends and I are having a blast with this one. If you’re going into pub quick play matches, just ignore the idiots and try-hards. /r/vermintide has a decent discord for LFG, I recommend that route for anything over Recruit difficulty.

I agree with you aside from people wanting to watch older games. How old is CS: GO at this point? My point was less about CoD specifically and more about that there are no competitive console games for a reason. Blizzard could have just as easily done OWL on console, no? Same with PUBG on Xbone.

This is true, but I shudder when I think about what games would look like if the government regulated it. Jack Thompson would’ve creamed himself back in the 90's and the mature themed games we’ve had since then would’ve been neutered beyond recognition, or given the death knell that is an AO rating.

The IIHF offered to pay for the insurance and travel costs. So your point is moot. The supposed sticking point was that the IOC wouldn’t allow the NHL to use any Olympic footage for promo cuts and the like, which is ridiculous.

What I mean is that it’s the actual best players from their country, not tier 3 pros, washed up pros, and some college kids while the best players in the world continue to play in their own league. Side note, I’d really like to see the NHL test out the Olympic sized rink.

At least it’s actually the best women in the world playing against each other rather than the barely-better-than-beer-league the men’s tourney is. The men’s tourney is so disappointing to watch.
