The only problem I have with character models in game at this point is how shiny they are. No one is slathering up in baby oil all the time. I’m playing through Wild Hunt right now, and it might be the prettiest game I’ve ever played, but the shiny skin is just weird.

Why would illegal downloading have anything to do with it? MKX was (and still is to some extent) fantastically broken on the PC. My bet is that they didn’t want to be bothered with having to fix all of their new bugs on top of the old bugs.

I barely looked at the sale this year and I got a few Steam gift cards for the holidays. Half the fun of Steam sales was logging in every day to see what was on sale and following the algorithm for whether or not to buy that game. The discounts weren’t all that great either.

I think the only games I’m really looking forward to this year is Uncharted 4, Horizon Zero Dawn, No Man’s Sky and maybe Far Cry Primal. I just got The Witcher 3 and Fallout 4 for Christmas, along with a few other PS4 games so I’ll be busy the first half of the year with those and the coming DLC.
