Smite is my MOBA of choice at this point. DotA is just too punishing if you haven't played in a long time, and Smite's community outside of the ranked lists isn't too bad. Good for them that they're getting a competitive scene going.

k70 RGB with Cherry MX Browns, Wolfenstein, Diablo 3 Ultimate Evil Ed. (PS4), and $70 in Steam gift cards. With all that and a healthy backlog, it will be a fun winter.

I still play it a bunch, but with the new expansion, which I do like quite a bit, has come a feeling of, why the heck am I doing this? Why should I spend hours in the raid if I'm just going to be able to buy better gear from the vendors in 3 months? The way they handled the gear in the ExPack was disappointing. I'm

Ah, okay. I never got into SWTOR, but played the shit outta KOTOR. I think the reason people are so upset is the time frame. Three months isn't very long to start the treadmill again, but I had one toon at max level within a month of release, and a forever-29 shortly thereafter. You don't see that kind of fast

They could have just not touched them and let them be out-classed by legendaries from the new raid. Do you really use all your exotics? I know I don't. I'm just upgrading the ones I use frequently. Destiny has a lot of padding, but I don't care, it's still fun as hell, especially the new raid and strikes.

Let me be a little more clear, Borderlands didn't have vendors that sold better gear than you can get in end game content. I would call Borderlands more of a co-op shooter than an MMO as well.

The new story missions are great as well as the new strike(s). It's just all the other crap that is slightly disappointing. There is a lot less, "defend ghost while it opens a door", and more "kill everything you see without stopping". I have only done half of the new raid, and it's similar. There are some timers

Borderlands' loot system was entirely different. The most important difference being in Destiny, you gain levels by acquiring better gear. Borderlands was just an XP grind, no big deal. It's the same as leveling up any gun or class in BF4 or CoD. Borderlands also didn't have vendors, raids, or an open world. I

Yeah, that kinda sucks. Still no word on if I'll be able to upgrade my Mythoclast either. If not, why would they buff it to 8 damage lower than stuff you can buy at a vendor?

The ReXurbished exotic weapons upgrade at a 15% faster rate. Get some bounties finished, pop a telemetry, and turn em in, then go farm for the rest of your telemetry. You'll be close to max again in no time. Also, you're not going to upgrade from a max of 300 damage to a base of 302 damage just because it will take

I don't think it's necessarily the console gamers that have a problem with it. I think it's the FPS gamers that have an issue with it. They're not used to the gear treadmill and the carrot on a stick kind of mentality. They think DLC is just some new missions, new maps, and a new camo skin for their SUROS.

For anyone that is looking for one, Newegg has the k70 RGB keyboards back in stock.

Why do you have access to all of the TDB gear from the vendors, the upgraded exotics, and the raised level cap without paying for TDB? That far outweighs not being able to run the weekly strikes once every 6 weeks.

I know what the rewards are for the NF and the weekly, I have two 30s. I know you need SC's for exotic shards, although, technically they aren't needed, you can shard any exotic and get one. Also, you are not able to upgrade the attack on legendaries like you are for the exotics, those are to be replaced via the

The only way to do that is to split the player base like CoD does, which is never good thing. If I were a dev, I would much rather deny two hours (max, per character) from some people in order to keep the entire player base together. Since there's no matchmaking for the NF/weekly strikes, it doesn't pose a problem

If they didn't include the new strike in the Nightfall/Weekly strike rotation, it would have been screwing over the people who are paying for more content. You would have the same 5 strikes over and over and over to appease the players who won't spend a little extra cash? That's once every 6 weeks that they don't

I have a couple of people I raid regularly with, but we are usually a few people short of a full group. PSN PhoenixRisen73

Yeah, it may have been FC4 and not GTAV that day. I always tell myself I'll wait for Christmas, but I never do. Although, my boycott of Ubishit is making it slightly easier.

It came out the same day as DAI and GTAV if I remember correctly, which would be why it got lost in the shuffle. I was going to pick this up for my wife and I to play this Christmas, but I don't have the creativity or motivation to make a level. It's a shame it doesn't have more content from the start.

Still playing a crap load of Destiny, I've got a 30 and a 29 ready for next week's expansion. Also working through DAI, but it intimidates me and my completionist mind. Just picked up Injustice and started playing that, and I'm curious about Secret Ponchos, looks interesting. I still have Shadow of Mordor to finish
