Explain why a large amount of PC releases are $10 cheaper at launch then?

Sony would probably be taking that cut since it is distributing it.

Yeah, if I'm going to download the game it should not be the same price as a physical copy. It obviously costs less for them when I download it, pass some of that savings on to the consumer. Nothing major, $10 for packaging and shipping sounds about right.

I was thinking that most chains in medieval times were welded closed IIRC. I feel like the dragons would've been able to break any clasp mechanism.

Ah okay. I got a few of those too, but didn't pay much attention cause I couldn't use them.

Hmm. I must've missed the upgrades that used materials. I think I only got the ones that unlocked through use and didn't pay a ton of attention to the others.

The Tower is where the vendor NPCs and probably quests will be as well. It's more than just getting to look at yourself, which is also a part of it. Oh, and it seems to be disco night every night at The Tower.

In the alpha, yes, but it's possible they didn't want to punish people for running into the limits of the alpha with the ?? mobs. I hope they have some sort of consequences for dying.

Weapon Parts, various types of wires, things I got from dismantling items I had no use for. Where did you see that they were for higher level equipment and "upgrade" requirements?

FPS that goes into third person when you enter the community hub known as The Tower.

I believe everyone in the MP portion of the alpha was the same level, and gear was leveled up similarly, but I guess I could be wrong. I did fine when I jumped in at level 4 and equally as well at level 8. One thing that isn't getting much attention is the mobility mechanics of Destiny. It's no Titanfall, but the

I read some where that equipment might have durability and that would take a hit upon death. I have no source for this, but that would be standard MMO fair if that were the case. There is going to be a crafting system, I had a ton of materials when the alpha ended. Durability systems often come with that.

The driving physics....yeesh. They remind me of Vice City driving. At first it was nostalgic and kinda funny, now I avoid driving at all costs.

If GTA on PC is anything like SR, you use the keyboard more than the mouse. The mouse is just where you're looking, the WASD keys steer.

Play me with a new controller with no auto aim while I'm using a KB/M. We'll see about that statement.

I don't know the breakdown, but we're not talking about things the companies didn't show. Sony didn't show The Last Guardian, Nintendo didn't show a new Samus game....?

PS4 showed 19 games, Xbox showed 20. Almost everything exciting this year were updates on things we already knew about, with some extras thrown in. You say "another LBP" sequel like it's CoD. This is only the third one, no?

Never trust IGN. With anything. They're like the one kid at a birthday party who isn't allowed hard candy because he's dumb enough to choke on it.

Apparently you didn't look very hard? Like, even "I'm feeling lucky" google search.

Alien. The soundtrack and atmosphere of that movie is unparalleled.
