So… "Mr. Meeseeks, we need to break Rick out of a Federation Prison." "OOOHHH CAN DO!!!"

So they wrote the Purge because they had writers block for the second part to this episode? It sounds like even they don't know how Rick is gonna get out of this one. Also nice to hear that Harmon wants to revisit stuff next season.
"Report to the ministry of employment and you will be assigned a function."
He did spasm briefly in a pool of his own blood.
From what I understand Venture Bros is in a pretty similar boat. Jackson Publick (Chris McCullough) is kind of a one man band in the production for that show.
Well, when last we saw her, it looked like she was about to get her just desserts from Squanchy.
It was a year and a half between seasons 1 and 2. The production takes a long time because Roiland insists on having a say in practically everything.
So what are the odds that Jerry's new job involves sucking big sweaty dicks and licking disgusting furry testicle sacks? I mean, that's what he told the authorities he loves to do.
I think it's the sort of thing that would be amazing for a 4 minute comedy sketch, but over 23 hour long episodes would wear very, very, thin.
Well, I'd say he's the best character on the show, which is a very low bar.
Predator. "Who killed the victim this week? Probably the Predator again." Or maybe they'd team up a no nonsense cop with a Predator and have them solve crimes together. I'm not sure which would be worse.
Not to the audience in this case. Premier ratings were anemic and I'd be surprised if they improved through this episode.
I thought it was fine, although that just might be suggestive of the fact that the writing staff probably hasn't changed too much.
This is the worst part of the show for me. Vega just seems grotesquely incompetent. It makes the procedural parts really boring.
It's interesting to see interviews with Harmon and Roiland about doing follow-up episodes for this series. It seems like Harmon is gun-shy about too much continuity here because he thought it made Community impenetrable to people who weren't die-hard, watch every episode types.
Morty is really thirsty. I wonder how far they're gonna push that (and to what consequences?) before they walk it back.
If you're in a society where murdering a bunch of innocent people for no reason is acceptable and encouraged, is it still sociopathy?
I mean, he did get kill them during a purge, so it was technically acceptable.
Just like "clean diesel" am I right?
I always thought the idea of a purge as a tool of oppression by the rich was absurd, because laws against murder and theft and the police to enforce them benefit the rich the most.
