Pretty sure Morty got laid in Raising Gazorpazorp. Doesn't seem to have helped much.

The fact that they didn't even bother to handwave away the existence of Ford (which would be trivial) suggests to me that this was meant to air earlier in the season. Hirsch's tweet was probably a way of acknowledging that without seemingly criticizing Disney.

Yeah, it would not shock me if this episode was aired out of order.

The scene with Agatha in the mall would suggest otherwise.

Well, this was kind of a mess, but it was also the pilot. Hopefully they manage to iron it out; I really like the movie, and as this thread makes clear, there's plenty of material to plumb from the premise alone. So far though it looks like they aren't planning to do too much with the property.

I wish they could have got the actual How It's Made narrator to do that bit.

I enjoy the high concept science fiction and the existential pathos involved in this show, but at the end of the day, I watch it because it makes me laugh. This episode, much like Get Schwifty, made me laugh a lot, so even though it's light on the other stuff, I still rate it pretty highly (despite the fact that many

If only a criminal record disqualified candidates in real life.

Kind of a low key joke that Goldenfold's favorite part of church is tithing.

The stinger on Raising Gazorpazorp was strong for me just because I watch Charlie Rose daily, and they captured the vibe of that show so perfectly.

The post-credits scene might have been the funniest thing I've seen since season 1. I thought this might get a low score because it lacked pathos, but the humor really worked for me.

Disney is going to try to keep Mickey Mouse under copyright until the heat death of the universe.

Our public domain laws are terrible.

I just saw some rando white bro in an "I'm Rick James Bitch" shirt last week. Someone is gonna shout that at Chapelle's funeral 30 years from now.

The Rick James sketch is cliche and run into the ground, but it's also the funniest thing I've ever seen. It can be both.

I'm not sure the word 'finally' is apt, but this is how I read it as well. He saw how seriously him just trying to be himself has warped the lives about people/hiveminds he cares about.

Well then Harmon needs to work on building a time machine so that Roiland can get more work done through the use of time clones.

Just pointing out that people seem to associate the 90s only with MC Hammer and Vanilla Ice and the word "radical". Vanilla Ice was making Nu-Metal before the 90s were over.

I think it had to do with the dynamics of assembling a group of characters who would mock Dipper and Ford for playing a dorky game.

People have some weird recollections of the 90s. It was also the decade of grunge and gangsta rap. I recall much more plaid and baggy jeans from that period than zubaz…
