Do you really have to ask?

ferry company

Yeah, I still don’t get why you would name a car after a ferry company. I mean, you’d never see an Aston-Martin P&O.

I don’t disagree.

I don’t know the guy and maybe he’s awesome, but everything in my gut tells me this is insurance fraud....

I completely misunderstood this as some sort of car community. In reality, it’s just a car-themed skin for Facebook.

They lost my interest with “sign in with Facebook”

I read this article and still don’t see the point.

How the hell are they going to monetize this?

Messed around with it. Not enough to draw me away from Facebook groups and Instagram. I’d say 75% of the posts I saw are pictures from Google images.

I just... don’t feel the need for another social network in my life.

Not to be the cynic, it kind of looks like the car throttle app/forum whatever. which has some decent editors, but the whole thing is overrun with 13 year old trolls who want Rolex’s, private jet status, and Jeremy Clarkson. Next generation interest is great but I can’t imagine how this could end up.

I have to use Facebook? No thanks.

But this seems more like the people who create Tribes positioning themselves/are being positioned as experts/commentators who are providing original content which Drive Tribe then publishes.

Creepy? Is that really the most apt word here? Sad, somber, sobering, historic, candid, humanizing, evocative, emotional, even polarizing, sure. But creepy?
