1988 cabriolets had the “clipper kit”. This cabby has quad headlights and euro plastic bumpers. Still not correct, but those parts could’ve been imported and installed on a US spec rabbit convertible in 1983. Maybe Barb’s dad is a closet euro GTI nut?
