That’s amazing. You’re only like two characters, a handful of churches, and 300 pages away from a Dan Brown novel.

This isn’t going to be a popular thing to say, so feel free to leave it in the grays where it belongs :)
Come on now. Let’s not forget about the sweet sweet release of death.
Christ. You’re right. If there hasn’t been a terrible Shilling tweet about this yet it’s only because he dropped his phone in the toilet. Again.
Well....he is white....so maybe he’s allowed to have an opinion?
He’s one of the very few dudes in that industry that you’ll never hear a bad word about. One of the very few that came from nothing, is entirely self made, and is known for treating the help (and strangers, like say restaurant servers) very kindly. I’ve never been a fan of his movies either, but as a human being he’s…
It’s a sad day when a disgusting baseball chin is the voice of reason, and more enlightened on a life and death issue than congress, most statehouses, governors, the president and his toadies, and ~47% of the voting public.
Same. Rifle from grandpappy, shotgun from a neighbor who moved overseas, and a pea shooter of a .22 revolver that I think came with a McDonald’s Happy Meal or something?
This.
Thank you for bringing up the I word. I have no idea how you can write a story about this and phrase it as “In 1998, that was fodder for scathing tabloid headlines and late-night monologues,” rather than “was fucking impeached by a fucking child molester and a fat fuck with a history of leaving his cancer stricken…
Yeah it was kind of a funny series that way. There were some (the one on architecture comes to mind) which I thought I’d absolutely love that I thought were a little meh in the end. And then others (like the sneaker one I mentioned) that I thought would be meh and I ended up loving. Go figure, and of course YMMV.
Pretty sure he’s just foul.
Netflix has a really cool series “Abstract, the Art of Design,” and one of the episodes is Ralph-centric. Made me a huge fan of the guy. The whole series is worth a watch. There was one episode I thought I’d skip just based on the description (it’s about sneaker design which isn’t my thing at all) and we ended up…
Maybe you’ve tried this already, but my wife had some sort of iron problem after giving birth. Sorry, it’s been so long I can’t remember the specifics, but I do remember that we made lots of meatloaf with large amounts of chicken livers and that really helped.
Being An Old and having kids now I’ve gone back through a lot of the stuff I read as a youngster. The Narnia books absolutely smoke anything Tolkien ever wrote.
Sometimes a Great Notion is supposed to be better but is actually even worse. I’ve also never been able to finish anything by Saul Bellow. On the other hand I’m really surprised to see Catch 22 come up here so often, so who knows.
Just a range ball in a box of Titleists.
I’m not even mad. That’s amazing.
Bingo. It’s possible that the current owner has put 5,000 VERY hard miles on the car after someone else babied it for the first 115k. Anyway, simply because the wheel/tire/stance choices are so blindingly dumb, I’d need to see VERY thorough documentation and do a VERY thorough PPI before considering this a NP.
