This thought always bothered me. People forget that NES games came with instruction manuals. I used to pour over them on the way home after buying a new game. They told you how to play. That’s how you learned.

Games didn’t just throw you in blind. There were literal booklets with them.

Underseason it? C’mon, I’m sure they know to put salt on it!

I love Jets, but this:

For instance, if you say you want a Coke and the restaurant only carries Pepsi products, the AI will add a Pepsi to your order.”

If I order Coke, I don’t want Pepsi.  Don’t just automatically add that to the order!

I think ARMS was supposed to be this generation’s new IP.  It has a lot of the feel of Splatoon, in that it’s an oddball competitive game with likeable, personality driven characters.  It just didn’t catch on at all.

Followed by actor-as-Fielder asking Fielder-as-actor for Thomas’s keys to his apartment?

I thought that it wasn’t that Spock was kicked out, but that he wasn’t important enough to get in in the first place, but that they, like Boimler and Mariner, tried to get in, but they failed.

My wife calls it a wooder ice, and I call it an Italian Ice.

Star Treks 2, 4, and 6 are all better than TMP.  FC is still good.

Those aren’t cats, those are Black Panthers!

Now playing

My only complaint about Star Wars Kinect is that the dancing should have been the only thing, and there should have been way more Disco. Star Wars is Disco as fuck, and people tend to forget that nowadays.

I crowdfunded this way back on either Indiegogo or Kickstarter, and had a bad experience. Turns out their “exclusive membership to a full library of videos” or however they advertised it was just a link to a youtube channel of people doing workouts in their bedrooms.

Maybe it’s changed in the past two years, but it

This is a better deal than what Biolite themselves put out for their Fourth of July sale. I ordered that one on June 30th, advertised at 242 (also came with the tarp and the poker) and it cost me over 290 because they made me pay for shipping, and it arrived today. Guess I should have waited.

Wouldn’t that technically count as a “Man is the real disaster” since we nuke it before they have a chance to blast it and leave?

That bothered me, because if Sarek knew how much danger that Michael and Spock were in, and comms were down, why didn’t he call the cavalry in?  He could have gotten like 50 starships there to help, instead of just Enterprise, Discovery, and their squads of super shuttles.

$450 NIB? It's on Amazon for $119.95 right now on the link in the article. Where do you live? I'd like to buy a bunch of these and sell them there.
