I think you’re being low-key snarky. However, I’ll bite just because I don’t want to finish an essay I’ve started. Yes, minorities adopt practices from majority cultures on a large-scale. I would never deny that. However, it’s not because they think it’s “like so cute.” They do it often to attempt to succeed or even

No need for you to be sorry:) Have a very nice weekend!

No aggression here; so, it looks like you’re wrong again. Though, I hope you enjoy your weekend too! The men’s match looks like it will be a good one, if you enjoy men’s tennis. Please take care:0)

I disagree. You can’t be noble and be a white supremacist. However, you can have good qualities, despite being a white supremacist.

I hear you. However, when you play devil’s advocate with anemic logic it doesn’t really further discourse.

Random Black woman here, with a myriad of friends of racial backgrounds: “A lot” isn’t necessarily a majority. Also, just because you don’t hear racist things being spouted doesn’t mean they aren’t said. So, I’m really not sure why you directed that to me. However, honestly, if you wanted to, you could use Google to

Are men more likely to comment about women’s sports? I am not sure that has been established. Also, along that same vein, it would be silly to ignore the jump in amount of comments from racial minorities when minorities play. It’s not just a bastion of whiteness like you are trying to portray. Though, it’s always nice

You insinuated several negative things about him. That is not up for debate. It is a matter of recorded fact. It doesn’t matter if you changed any opinions or not. No one should have their reputation slandered or demeaned when they are innocent of the claims made against them. It’s called respecting another human

May you never be falsely accused and have someone like you drag your name through the mud. Also, compassion and impartiality are not mutually exclusive. Have a nice day!

People have been horrible to me before and will likely be again; that doesn’t matter. It’s not dissmisive to be fair to both sides. Let justice come after the facts...that’s the basis of every modern legal system...that’s why we have trials...It’s not about being believed. It’s about acting responsibly. It’s clear you

Oh please! You could have been, oh I don’t know IMPARTIAL and waited for all the facts! Funny concept, I know. Instead, you sided with a liar not a VICTIM! You were ready and willing to believe what she said. Basic cognitive function at an adult level would have waited for all facts in the matter before blaming him.

Whoa and your take away is that she’s telling the truth? Why is that? BTW she just apologized for lying, he did make a substantial contribution. However, to you he took advantage of her. Hmmm, very Harper Lee, of course the black guy did it—fuck the facts. That will teach him to bust a chifferobe for anyone.

It’s interesting how you are a Marina apologist, and see no difference in your actions, especially since she just admitted she lied and had received a donation. Yep, Black people keep receipts too. Now back to you, why were you so quick to believe her? Oh that’s right, we already know. Have a great day.

Food for thought: This is an excellent opportunity to discuss intersectionality! Many of these images seem to lack racial diversity, and from personal experience this is true in my field. If your serious about being an ally on this site, perhaps it deserves a mention if this article ever gets a follow-up.
