I can’t argue with that.
I can’t argue with that.
I never played the game and I know little about its mythos. I’m interested in the series, however, because of Pascal and Ramsey. They both gave excellent performances with their limited screen time on GoT, and I’m glad to see them both continue to get more and more lead roles like this.
It’s 2021 AVC. We’re lucky that this isn’t just copied and pasted from another site with minimal changes. I’ve straight up caught both Barsanti and Hughes doing exactly that. The former once even forgot to take out references to other articles from the site he poached that made no sense in the context of the resulting…
Big sucks! This is the guy who left Carrie at the altar after they spent likely millions on the wedding.... If the speculation about that dialogue turns out to be true, it would explain why John Corbett, who played Carrie’s ex Aidan Shaw, will be returning to the show.
...and AVC continues to devolve into “Shit that was already posted on every other pop culture blog a week ago”.
I just wanted to point out that Margot Robbie’s feet are conspicuously front and center on that cover of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. I’m not trying to kink-shame; I just couldn’t help but notice how on-brand it is for the guy. Even venturing into novelizations QT finds a way.
I know who’s behind this...
Only when sweet, sweet Death comes to take us to the great gig in the sky.
Every once in awhile I’ll get a push notification telling me that someone like Jen Kirkman has just added a new fleet and I need to hurry up and view it because it will be gone soon. My interior monologue is always, “Nah. I’m good.”
Yeah. The Earth is like an especially crummy Thunderdome. Eight billion enter, none of us leave.
It would certainly explain how the “Loki owes its humor” thesis got shoehorned in, despite little evidence besides PAD used humor and so does Loki. As someone else said up-thread, PAD was far from the first comics writer to rely on a balance of humor and pathos, and PAD’s type of humor isn’t really what’s on display…
He stumbled upon Homer’s old bootleggin’ operation.
And I would maintain that she and lot of the others got exactly what they bargained for when they 1) chose to pursue becoming celebrities and 2) acted like horrible human beings. In Hilton’s case she was a particularly egregious dumpster fire of a human being. She wasn’t a fucking victim. She was a talentless bully…
Have I mentioned the sex tape? Even after the notoriety of it came and went, she continued to cash in for years beginning with The Simple Life and through the few “reality” TV shows that the article mentions—each with diminishing returns—and people steadily grew tired of her schtick and collectively realized how truly…
I don’t think Hilton was treated any differently than anyone before or after her who sought out fame (and indeed acted entitled to it) but whose reason for being famous in the first place was tenuous or questionable (which makes her different from Spears right away, as at least Spears can sing).
What makes her attempt at image rehabilitation even more loathsome is that she (and/or her publicist) have tried to tie it to the “Free Britney” movement. They’ve tried (and in some outlets succeeded) to drum up sympathy for Hilton by pointing to how talk show hosts and pretty much everyone else would talk about her…
Seriously, I went to school in the stix and there were at least a couple girls in every class who easily looked 19-20 when they were 16.
Kate Hudson definitely does not pass as someone who could be a high schooler, so the big age difference between the actors is very jarring onscreen (Fuguit was 15 at the time of filming, and Hudson was 19).
By “reach out” they probably mean “tweeted at”; if it’s not on Twitter, the current AVC bullpen doesn’t care.
Charles” died last year, which led to Nowicki finally reaching out to Roupenian to ask how she knew so many details about the relationship. The answer isn’t wholly surprising (there’s no huge twist or mystery)...
