Yeah, that happened to me a few times with WandaVision, and it was mostly for stuff that I got right (or that I thought that I got right) and then the writers, etc., were asked about it afterwards and they would say something like, “Oh that was just a tossed-in line.”

Oh, I’d be angry, too. I just meant that they took what seemed like a one-or-two-episode story arc about Ross’s reaction to the sandwich and turned it into one of his central character traits for what seemed like an inordinate amount of time.

Agreed. She’s great in the role, too.

I’d put good money on those 8:1 TVA odds and bet that Ravonna is heavily involved. At one point in episode 5 she has a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it sardonic smile on her face right after saying that she wants to catch whoever’s behind the TVA.

Then there was what felt like a whole season where he had serious anger management issues. I think it started off with him flipping out because his boss ate his sandwich and he was placed on leave, then they just kept it going for several more episodes, blowing up at everybody and for some reason it was supposed to be

I’m pretty sure that I caught a glimpse of the head of a giant statue of the Living Tribunal lying on its side in ruins.

We might be talking at cross purposes, but I wasn’t saying that he was offered immunity to testify in the civil trial; I said that he was compelled to testify in the civil trial because he was not going to be prosecuted—because of Castor’s earlier promises—so he could not invoke his Fifth Amendment rights.

Well said, and as Mark Joseph Stern put it succinctly over at Slate,
Don’t blame the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Blame prosecutor-turned–Trump lawyer Bruce Castor”:

My understanding (someone correct me if I’m mistaken) is that Cosby’s testimony in Andrea Costand’s civil case against him—his admission that he had given her Benadryl to “relax” her—was what opened the door for prosecutors in the criminal trial involving Costand to call on the court to allow the testimony of the

It’s fucked up that Cosby is free, but smarter folks than me are pointing out that the court’s decision today really just cleans up what was one big clusterfuck of prosecutorial misconduct that, if allowed to stand, could have had an even more chilling effect vis-à-vis prosecutors reneging on deals with defendants. ...permanently shrinking our solar system family to eight and giving grade school textbook publishers across the world a massive headache.

In terms of Renslayer’s story as it relates to the comics, certainly when I spoke initially with Kate Herron, our director, [she said] this is very much an origin story for Renslayer in terms of her future in the comics. [But] as we’re dealing with time, obviously, things could go anywhere!

Remember the band Ratt? Anyone? Ratt?

But, since a functional human mind not addled by screeching Fox News talking points and “owning the libs” on Twitter can keep two inconvenient truths operating at the same time...

Getting strong 1960s-era Namor vibes from Mr. Nimbus.

Project Veritas: When you’re too show-your-own-ass stupid for Fox New.

Yep—but only in the voiceover credits for the international version dubbed in Castilian, just in case anyone is confused as to why their version lists the character as “The Variant”.

Tori Amos’s debut was in a synth-pop band called Y Kant Tori Read?. Even as a big fan of her first five or so (solo) albums, I don’t recommend tracking down the band’s self-titled one-and-only effort.

Conspiracy theories make dumb people feel smart and let people shop for what they want to hear instead of the truth. It’s a pervasive problem that is getting worse; Clapton is just one of the higher profile dummies.
