The tell-tale sign is how quickly his comments have mutiple stars after he makes them—even when every other indication is that few people have even clicked on the article—and then very few additional stars are given afterwards, even as other comments are added and earn several more stars each than his, because he’s

I have a crazy idea of my own: that someone so obsessed with being the moral arbiter of a community that they continually hijack others’ comments and make ham-handed segues to discuss past transgressions, someone who routinely has accused other members of the community with being rape apologists and even rapists based

There were all of those reaction vids that were posted of those who had read the books and knew what was coming watching the episode with those who didn’t.

Yes, we completely forgot about Dre beating Dee Barnes, despite the incident being routinely discussed as recently as a few years ago when Straight Outta Compton was released. As opposed to, you know, it not being particularly relevant to this story or discussion of this story. It’s a good thing that you're always

So... We forgot about Dre, and Dre forgot that he gave a shared $70 mil to get his future progeny into USC. There’s a parody song in here somewhere.

I really warmed up to Cat after her confession to Talisa about Jon—that when he was an infant he fell sick and could’ve died, and she prayed to the gods for his recovery. She promised that she would love him as her own and that she would implore Ned to legitimize him and give him the name Stark. Only she couldn’t keep

I just realized that I said that Robb promised to marry one of Roose’s daughters when I meant to say that he promised to marry one of Walder’s daughters, and it’s too late to add an edit. I need coffee.

“And Catelyn is as confused as we are.”

I wouldn’t be surprised if they dropped Bob’s Burgers coverage, either, I suppose, since it’s the Nü AVC. For what it’s worth, however, the reviewers that they’ve had for our beloved series have all been notorious for posting their reviews late. My guess is that the review for last night's episode will be posted later

See, for me a Gene-centered episode that would be in the running for most skip-worthy (at least its A story) would be the post-season 5 “Like Gene for Chocolate,” the one in which the formula for his favorite candy bar is changed and his in-person protests at the candy company lead to him befriending and advising the

Of course I *do* remember “Best Burger.” It’s the episode in which Bob competes against Skip (his first appearance) and Jimmy to determine who makes the titular best burger, with Chuck Charles serving as host and working to undermine Bob because of how Bob (and Gene and Linda) inadvertently got Chuck fired from his

I miss when Criterion had a partnership with Hulu and like half of their catalog was available for a song; that was a great value. Everything is becoming balkanized now.

Hey, it was boring down in Sealab. He had nothing else going on. Recording nerdcore rap songs about sci-fi franchise third-stringers helped pass the time.

I’ll admit it: the stinger that plays the moment that Jaqen reveals his new face—the Faceless Man stinger, with an extra, even more dramatic note at the end—gave me chills.

You're being willfully obtuse.

If we can go ahead and use that header image from Hertzfeldt for every story about The Simpsons henceforth, that’d be swell.

No problem! I think that maybe the writer was originally going to write it as “these attempts rarely yield...,” but then realized that “these” would have a vague antecedent, so they added “Most TV matchmaking” in front of it but forgot to delete “these.”

I think that just deleting “these” would make it clear, though I guess you could also substitute in a semicolon for the comma (or add a conjunction after the comma) between the two independent clauses.

Oh and when I saw Taxi on the list, I thought of “Blind Date,” the episode in which Alex goes on a blind date with Angela, who he only knows from her sexy voice and witty messages on Bobby’s answering machine, only to discover that she’s surly and overweight when they meet. Yet there’s something about her that he
