That opening, her now in some small NYC apartment, such a stunning comedown. Just amazing how bad you feel for her basically turning into Blanche.

The one that really hit is actually near the end: Davis watching the "In Memory" thing at the 1978 Oscars. "40 years and they give her five seconds. That's all any of us will get." Sadly all too true.
Just give Sarandon and Lange the damn Emmys already.
Brie Larson now firmly in the "I have an Oscar now, I can make whatever fucking kind of movie I want" phase of her career.
So one Stussy decided to trust stealing a stamp to a coked-up moron and seems shocked the guy screwed it all up.
Plus how even Ray takes a moment to admire with her going "Ray…the gun…."
The way Ray just holds them up with a "Oh my God, what the FUCK was I thinking going to this moron?!"
I just adore the scene of Thewlis talking about how this whole "loan" was really an "investment" and it slowly sinks in to Emmit and Sly that "oh, lord, we. Are. FUCKED."
I love how, in a world where we can get such believable "one actor playing against each other" tech for Orphan Black, Vampire Diaries and other shows, Fargo does an old school "stand-ins and quite visible effects lines" for the scenes of McGregor playing off himself.
Too soon to put Carrie Coon on the dream Emmy nom list?

Toy Story 3
Just to note, this whole season was shot two months before the election. So any shots at current events are totally coincidental.
It was showcased as everyone agrees Davis was always the better actress and Crawford more a diva who lucked out with Mildred Pierce. And as this series expertly shows, the idea of being forgotten just terrified Joan so much that it drove her to such wild extremes.
I just want a future season to take on de Havilland vs Fontaine just to get Zeta-Jones back.
I still imagine one of the last scenes of the series Davis in a dark theater watching Mommie Dearest at first, giggling and such. But as she hears the howls of the crowd and realizing they're seeing this as camp, her face falls as she realizes that, no matter how much they hate each other, she doesn't think Crawford…
That last shot of Bette's glorious "Fuck You" in the form of a photo op on a Coca-Cola cooler was just beautiful.
Love that bit of Henry going "You knew. EVERYONE knew" and you can tell, he honestly believes it. He was so in deep that he's convinced it had to be obvious to everyone else but of course, Diane had no clue she was blowing her life savings on a scam and neither did his other victims, showing the genius mentality that…
Actually, some college crew took it on years back in their MST3K tribute:
I admit, a little annoyed they cut out the one great bit from Wizards of the Lost Kingdom. Elderly drunk hero Kor faces off against Shurka. The masked headsman suddenly goes…
