Maybe meant actress? Or, this being Davis, totally ignoring Brennan and assuming she'd be the first.

Just loved how it showed that the line from the movie "all this time we could have been friends" went right over the duo's heads. Just amazing work again and makes you once more realize how fantastic Lange and Sarandon are.
If anything, it reminded me of Usagi Yojimobo and how it too will have big epic showdowns ending in one or two sword strikes. Maul was just a beserker, really, Obi-Wan an experienced Jedi and if Obi-Wan could take down Maul as a Padawan, it makes sense he'd do it better as an aged Master.
Catching up on the show and I have to admit, all its faults, I did like how Cyrus just jumps to the idea that Vargas would be like Fitz and sleep around and not realize that yes, some married men really are faithful. That his projection of Fitz onto Vargas set this whole thing off is a nice turn.
#4: The woman who played not one but two of the best moms on television ever.
Here's the glorious 80s trailer:
Have to admit surprised they ended MacLeish so soon but happy it's not dragged out more. As for the suicide, it comes back to why Hannah's boss didn't want to believe her conspiracy talk at first: How bad is a group who think that blowing up the entire U.S. government is only the first step of a bigger plan? Good to…
Thanks, that entire sequence is still glorious.
Meanwhile, RIP Rachel Maddow's journalistic standing.
Sadly no longer on You Tube but it's a late series episode ("Up In the Air") that has the single greatest scene of the series: Mixing tranquilizers while at a party, Jack proceeds to tear it up with a dance that moves from Astaire to waltz, tango with a maid, wearing a pot on his head like Chita Rivera and flying…
First two seasons are on Netflix.
I'm already expecting future Mandy Moore to look far more like she does today than her older self on This Is Us.
I always find it funny how the "25 years later" bit in the finale of China Beach has Delaney's character wrinkled and white hair…while in real life, Delaney barely looks like she's aged in 26 years.
"I'd slap you if your braces hadn't cost so much."
I'd love to see Davis return for a season about Hedda and Louella Parsons. They actually tried to make peace but realized it just couldn't last as not only was it "better for business" to be rivals but also really did hate having one outscoop the other.
Yeah, any biography of Crawford's has to acknowledge she crossed the line of "pride" to "sheer total egomaniac" so often.
I keep having to check to make sure this is on ABC. It's just so much stronger than anything else on the network, you'd expect it to be a higher-end cable drama.
Having just watched Baby Jane on AMC, I am in awe of how brilliantly Sarandon and Lange channel Davis and Crawford, not caricature, not total impersonation but the perfect balance between them to serve the series.
I love the line from another recap site: "I'd love Elsbeth as a regular but I'm pretty sure her home dimension connects to Earth only a couple times a year."
The moment Kresteva looks at Elsbeth and you can feel the smug air of "they're putting this fool against me?" I had a massive grin on my face looking forward to Elsbeth wiping the floor with him. God, Carrie Preston is such a delight in this part and the bonding with Diedre was just magnificent to watch.
