And there's the "play it off" piano…..

Holy crap, he's a dead ringer for Phillip Seymour Hoffman as Truman Capote.

Stealing an Emmy from Christina Hendricks?

Gee, I'm sure Trump will take this in his usual calm demanor….

Now I remember Will Ferrell as George talking about Jeb: "Who'd have guessed I'd be the smart one in the family?"

James Corden, who I'd much rather see hosting….

Still love the running gag of Dragon and Adam meeting at least twice an episode but Dragon still has no idea who Adam is.

Still one of the best in-jokes ever where we see a video of Nick snapping about rules to Schmidt: "Treat Coach right or he's gong to leave us and find another bunch of white people to hang around!"

Man, if ever a guy had a voice perfect for radio, it was him. Just amazing all around, shows his skills well.

Left off the fun touch of how Zorn believes Peggy is a man because the idea of a woman boss is impossible for him to accept.

I remember in a "what were we thinking?" bit, TV Guide ran the cover of their 2000 Fall TV preivew: Richards, John Goodman, Geena Davis and Bette Middler. All of whom had major comedies that year. Every one of which was canceled by mid-season.

I am convinced that years from now Popstar: Never Stop Stopping is going to be constantly quoted and be a massive favorite on cable with newer fans going "this wasn't a big hit? Really? Wow."

Years from now, that movie is going to be quoted constantly from cable showings and people going "really? This wasn't a box office hit?"

Exactly, I was down but then heard from more hard-core Trekkers who raved it about and made me decide to see it. Glad I did.

That "Sabotage" bit should have been so dumb and yet just makes total sense and perfectly worked for the movie. And really, it all worked out totally and more in spirit of Trek than the previous two films so deserved a much bigger take.

Maybe lower expectations helps. What really made Beyond click was you'd seen the trailers and expected a dumber action piece but it turns out to be more like Trek than the previous two movies. Didn't expect much of Shallows but it turned out much better than just "Blake Lively in a bikini" and such. And likewise Nerve

True but still amazed how for once, audiences actually seemed to listen to critics to stay away like ID Resurgence.

Hell, the winter/spring was more Summer Blockbuster than this with that, Zootopia, Jungle Book and hell even Batman V Superman.

Don't forget Bad Moms. Yeah, ctitically shrugging but already over $100 million on a $20 million budget, that's pretty damn good by this year's standards.

Is rare to see a summer when so many "sure things" failed. Ghostbusters, ID4 Resurgence and Alice Through the Looking Glass are one thing. But The BFG? Steven Spielberg, Disney and Ronald Dahl adding up to a huge flop? That one really took me by surprise.
