I’ve read that statement a few times, and it feels like Nintendo is still designing a home console first. The mobile hardware almost sounds like they are including next-gen 3Ds’s for controllers. Outside of streaming, I’m not sure a mobile device is going to independently run the console games if they are putting

That is tempting. I see now that Google is offering a $50 Play credit for pre-ordering a new Nexus. That might be a winner then!

It’s been a weird month for me on the technology decisions front. My wife and I have had iPhones since the first generation, but when Apple announced the iPhone 6S, I just couldn’t do it. It’s just too expensive! I’m looking at comparable Android phones for HALF the price.

Yep, I was going to say the same thing. We own our home and looking at our mortgage statement is depressing. SO MUCH of that monthly payment is interest, property taxes and homeowners insurance. Also, we just recently had roof damage and no landlord to call to fix it. Trust us, there are many, many ways for homeowners

I have a ton of games that I’ve only completed about 20%. I’m a dad with two small children, so I don’t play AAA titles very often. I end up sitting on the couch watching Disney Jr. and playing Hearthstone on my iPad.

The new Apple TV really should have run iOS. I already own several games (and apps for that matter) that I would love to open natively on the Apple TV.

A few years ago, when I was doing freelance writing, I remember the first time I charged a fair rate for my services. For years prior, I undervalued myself due to lack of experience. That, and I’m too nice and hate handling the money side of the equation. I drew up a contract for the proposed project, which included a

I have two small children at home. Wandering around the grocery store aisles in silence is my zen garden.

I’m really interested to know how upgrading the motherboard work for Windows 10. I recently upgraded to Win 10 on my 2008 PC. It won’t be long before I upgrade the system...

I would say healthcare is probably the biggest shocker. I have two daughters, one is still a baby that gets sick on a bi-weekly basis. Every time we take her to the doctor, I can expect a $200 bill. And if the doctor actually does anything worthwhile... add other $200-$600.

This is a nice mantra on paper, but I would be that jerk that never goes to family events. Or any weddings. Come to think of it, I would very rarely leave the house.

Have you installed Windows 10 on that new Macbook Pro? How does Windows behave with the mac hardware? I love the build quality of my 2010 MBP... but I’m really torn between replacing it with a new MBP and that sexy Dell XPS 13.

Gary Busey would only work if they let him interject random dialogue into the script. “Hoo-BOY! That wizard came from the moon all right – HEY, you know what sounds amazing right now? A body suit made of green jolly ranchers.”

This license key thing is very tricky. I have Windows 8.1 on my PC. I built the computer in 2008 and have upgraded parts over the years. Will Windows “know” my computer if I upgrade the video card?

Man, it’s only 8:30am and already many of these deals are no longer available. The gift card deal has expired and the $20 off $100 for Rewards Card holders appears to be bogus (I’ve tried it on 3 different orders and none appear to be valid for the offer).

Exactly. And 2TB seems a bit peekish for HD media storage.

I’m a little disappointed in you, KFC. This is just a chicken parm and a completely reasonable food product. Where is my Buffalo chicken pizza with boneless Buffalo wings instead of crust? Where’s my side-mug of Xtreme Sriracha Ranch Dipping sauce? Where, KFC, WHERE??

I have the Nest and am very pleased with it. I’ve had a few connection hiccups from my iPhone, but I blame my home network more than the thermostat. Hopefully, having iPhones only at home won’t be an issue if I want to add more home automation devices. I’m not sure if Nest will ever play nice with HomeKit, or if it

Very disappointed in the “Ultimate” Xbox sale. Most of those game prices don’t even match the regular Amazon price. I know the sale is for digital versions, but why would they cost more than the disc version? That makes zero sense to me, especially considering there’s no resell value in a digital copy.

I’ve been looking at Philips Hue for a while now. I haven’t heard of LIFX... how does it compare, feature-wise or quality-wise? Seems like it’s more expensive than Hue too (and Hue is already damn expensive).
