The only way this game is going to get a full release is for them to run out of money and sell to a publisher like Microsoft or Sony. If that happens, I bet it’ll get released in one form or another within 1-2 years.

It probably just tapped into something the single player devs were already feeling. The tweet just twisted the knife a bit.

Anybody know why Xbox Games Pass games on PC are different than Steam versions? This isn’t specific to The Ascent... I’ve noticed other games like MYST doesn’t support VR on XGP, but the Steam version does. What gives?

This seems like it could be a combination of “doesn’t give a fuck” and “gives fuck all about,” which is UK slang. They could have just typo-ed their comment as well. I do that all the time. No big deal.

What happens if we mirror the stream?”
“Try to imagine all life as you know it stopping instantaneously and every molecule in your body exploding at the speed of light.”

They gotta crunch if they’re gonna make that 2031 release date.

This is a good move. I have to imagine it’s very awkward for a streamer to receive one of those $100+ donations. I’ve seen it happen on-stream, and the reaction is always mixed. It creates a weird pressure to repay that insane donation in some way. But there’s really not.

But that’s only about $138,000 if you wait for a sale.

You know, at the end of the day, I don’t really care if they pull episodes or not. Especially if they really do make people uncomfortable. I think it’s actually a buy 2, get 1 free promo. It’s just worded very cleverly. I did this promo with three items and got the third one free.

I think Nintendo properties are great games because they evolve the controls and characters we’re already familiar with. To me, they’re immune to thatcommitment demand” keeping me from starting a new game. I can just jump right into a new Mario or Zelda because it’s like coming back to an old friend.

I’ve got a message for Blizzard. It should sound a little familiar to them:

Surprisingly, Adobe Applications Manager is in my legacy software. Has anyone out there upgraded to Catalina and experienced Creative Cloud issues?

Now I want every Hearthstone tournament winner to repeat Blitzchung’s words during their interview. They can’t ban them all.

Looks like driving conditions got a little dicey there.

Yep. I was expecting to see things like a USB C port, in-screen TouchID, no-notch screen design, etc...

Stranger Things Season 3 is mine. At least it’s the one fresh in my memory.

I saw his last show in Little Rock on Sunday. I agree... he brought it. He went full Devo for “Dare to be Stupid” and had the Winamp visualizer projected behind him.
