The only way this game is going to get a full release is for them to run out of money and sell to a publisher like Microsoft or Sony. If that happens, I bet it’ll get released in one form or another within 1-2 years.

With the villains getting cured, they could easily just have Andrew Garfield return to a better version of the universe he left (one where Gwen Stacy is still alive). They could ret-con whatever they want and introduce new consequences... might be really interesting actually.

Anybody know why Xbox Games Pass games on PC are different than Steam versions? This isn’t specific to The Ascent... I’ve noticed other games like MYST doesn’t support VR on XGP, but the Steam version does. What gives?

Yeah, agreed on all points. It also makes me nervous about the future of the Nest app. I feel like we’re just a firmware update away from being forced into Google Home for all our existing Nest hardware as well. Bleh.
