@doomonu: yeah the article says 90% are disability free at 93.

@hambonegravy: as in self-fulfilling prophecy? "I'm not going to live that long so why take care of myself"

@yantelope: the genes cant predict how old you will live to be, only that IF!!! you live a healthy livestyle you are genetically predisposed for longevity.

@Seasonone: read the article, 90%!! of people that make it to 100 are still disability free at age 93. thats pretty remarkable!!

seriously, since I picked it up I dont think I have taken one crap without my iPad now, if I dont have it with me I just save it up until I get home and go there.

@zmnatz: not on the iPad, hey I agree with you I am not liking this either, I will be sticking with AirVideo to stream my video library

Don't wanna get my hopes up on this one but it would be great if my inredible could replace my flip ultraHD and my verizon mifi.

@zmnatz: not having to wait for the season to come out on DVD. new episodes of shows are usually there pretty soon after airing.

@FigNinja: yeah i figured, my point was that Android took over a year from when Sling said "yes we will make it" to when it went public, i am PRAYING that isnt the case with iPad, especially considering a decent chunk of the coding is already done from the iPhone app.

I use it for everything, ever since i went to Android it is awesome to use

@FigNinja: iPad app is in private beta??? or Android which actually just went public?

@anoopb: I replaced the shattered touch digitizer on my 3GS for like $60 but the iPhone 4's touch, glass and LCD are all one piece meaning you cannot replace just the front. but it will still likely be way cheaper to replace than $150 deductible plus $144/year.

@Ben Longo: thats my plan, bought the 16GB wifi only (I have a Verizon MiFi) and i figure i will be able to sell it for at least $300 when 2nd gen comes out (I take super good care of this stuff and keep all original packaging). I love it! so a year of use for $200 is well worth it.

@musiqrulez: AirVideo will stream any locally stored content, so if you have another program grabbing the video and dumping it in a folder you can stream anything in that folder.

@Celtic1888: I do the same but Sling is dragging their feet on releasing the iPad app and the scaled up iPhone version looks like crap!

@Gar Nelson: agree, considering Google is trying to switch all their desktops to Linux I would have to believe all their products going forward will support it.

slingbox/iPad/slingplayer for iPhone (because Sling is dragging their feet on an iPad client)

maybe he should have sent a follow up to Microsoft before making it public, but honestly EFF MICROSOFT! fix your bugs instead of getting mad at people for recognizing them.
