It isn't called ALIENS or XENOMORPHS 2. Plus I enjoyed the first movie and that had like, 10 seconds of an Alien and it was the final 10 seconds at that (spoiler alert). So this shouldn't be that big of a deal.

I think you get some good sleaze in there but it is mostly how Roosevelt was almost (keyword: ALMOST) fix the NYPD in a manner of months. The way he was able to just browbeat everyone to submission, to the point where city officials pretty much forced him to get into politics, is impressive.
