I know it is not ALWAYS a good indicator of a good film but the cast for this makes me believe it is going to be good. So far all the actors perfectly fit, personality wise anyways, with their characters. I went from not really caring about this to finding myself pretty interested.

I cannot think of a weirder pairing or a pairing that cannot work.

So how does CBS not see this is almost like what NBC did to Jay Leno? Granted it's at the 7pm hour and not 10pm; but I don't see how this is going to work.

I saw this on a plane back from vacation and I really enjoyed it. If that was Fassbender the entire time in that thing then god bless him. He made the character believable and not totally ridiculous with the script providing a good amount of humor throughout this. Even Maggie Gyllenhaal wasn't on my nerves which is a

Interesting. Considering where Kubrick was before his passing this project doesn't seem like something he would do. Maybe super early in his career when he did The Killing or Killer's Kiss. But after Eyes Wide Shut and (posthumously) A.I.? Not so sure on that.

Why would Cumberbatch and Freeman not want to be involved with a crossover?

I remember being a kid and watching the hell out of this show. It's such a simple concept and yet it can be really addicting/tense at points. I'm sure it was nothing but product placement most of the time but as a kid I could care less. That's why I love having a refreshing glass of orange Fanta.

Funny anecdote: I was getting driven home from work by my Mom (cause I was 15 at the time when this came out so fuck you Father Time) and we were going to miss the first five minutes of the show. But ABC had a radio station that would play what is on the TV so we could at least HEAR the first act of the show.

I don't give a shit out much hyperbole is in this comment:

I'm down for it. Why can't he host it? Maybe have a few singers come on to help with the parody (like the article mentions). Let's have some fun for a change with this show like the good old days!

I don't think going away from Captain America is a bad thing. Cause WB wants to make the maximum money and they aren't going to get it if they're in direct competition with another comic book movie. Call me crazy, but I think going up against another Beverly Hills Cop movie has a better chance of making a lot of dough.

Unfortunately we are not related. She spells it Naegle.

As a man who was in Paris for Bastille Day this year let me tell you that the city does it right.

PRO: Some good jokes and action scenes. Groot, Rocket, and Dax pretty much steal the movie (and that's because of great performances by the actors). Pratt is a believable asshole hero. The melodrama coming from the villains (especially Ronan) was fantastic.

I was actually surprised to see that much Thanos in the movie. Wasn't prepared for it and thought it was going to be another end credits cameo or something. But it's certainly cool to see him and I think Brolin nails the characters. Can't wait to see him go all melodramatic and ask Death why he doesn't love him….I

Man the trailers do not seem to show how grim this film is which review makes it out to be

Very good article Mr. Dowd.

So the gimmick for this is gonna be that they use live chipmunks for the performances?

It doesn't appear the two are related but if this somehow gets us a 'Godzilla v. King Kong' film I will be SUPER happy.

Why is everything so god damn grim and gritty for this film? I'm not expecting the JUSTICE LEAGUE INTERNATIONAL but god damn there is no need for this tone. The Avengers didn't get even close to gritty despite how some of them separately have had serious shit happen to them leading to the film.
