Provided you have a big enough pressure cooker (jealous am I) , you can get a really solid stock/broth going in about 3 hours instead of 12. You definitely will want to blanch the proteins as described above or the gunk and foam can screw up the pressure release valve on your cooker.

I often poach the Egg right in the bowl of super hot broth. So, broth and aromatics go in the bowl, crack egg gently into broth, cover bowl with already warmed pan lid. After 3 to 5 minutes, add the cooked noodles any other proteins, and some scallion. Comes out a super delicate egg white enrobing a soft-set yolk.
