Man, am I tired of full screen ads popping up when I'm watching an embedded video.

Counterpoint: "Fucking around with friends" is a pretty good definition for "video games."

Which is why they completely changed the fighting in the new game to turn based.

Permadeath, high level mission.

THAT'S IT

But we’ve extended all other possible means of navigating the situation.”

My excuse is that I want to play the PS5 version, and since there is no upgrade path, buying it on the PS4 is just a waste of money.

So Deathloop and Ghostwire Tokyo will almost certainly come to Xbox after the exclusivity period, but if that deal is still in place, that means that when they’re released, they might be PS5 exclusives that boot up an Xbox Game Studios logo.

While I was watching the embedded tweet video on this very page, this happened:

I know it’s a lot to ask, but I wish that Nintendo would make a USB adapter that we could use to plug in GameCube controllers to play Sunshine the optimal way. And I know it would be way too much to ask, but it would be great if they did another run of GameCube controllers so those of us who need new ones.

You are not getting this.

One is last gen, Series is next gen.

This guy's played a video game or two.

I thought the whole point of preloading was to avoid this. Everyone could’ve been loading these 90GB (or at least most of them) over the last couple weeks, rather than slamming Microsoft’s servers all at once. But they only let everyone preload 500MB? So 0.5% of the payload?

Great! When it was announced, I was afraid that they would just make it a beat-em-up (with some speed bike levels), but the trailer makes it clear that they’re making a game with a bunch of different gameplay styles, which is much more true to the original game.

Because some people bought both games, and this way, they’ll buy both expansion passes, too. But I do think they should provide refunds for mistaken purchases.

I think, legally, they’ll be able to make takedown requests for years, but Twitch should really have their own policy that it doesn’t give you a strike if it’s been up for more than a year.

Here's hoping the international version is just one more expensive one with more games.

Yeah, I mean, I'd rather have a special edition PS5, even if it's styled around a PS4 game.

I’m hoping that we’ll look back on that as the inflection point, where marketers realized that we do in fact want actual gameplay and not just cinematics every month until release.
