Because some people bought both games, and this way, they’ll buy both expansion passes, too. But I do think they should provide refunds for mistaken purchases.

I think, legally, they’ll be able to make takedown requests for years, but Twitch should really have their own policy that it doesn’t give you a strike if it’s been up for more than a year.

When I'm deciding if I want to buy a game, I pull up screenshots and videos, and scroll through until I see a HUD. If I don't see one, I do not buy. You have to show me what I'll be doing before I agree to do it. 

During the trailer for The Ascent, I was SURE that it would be Ruiner 2. Ruiner is a top-down action game in a cyberpunk world that looks really, really similar, but no, totally different developer and publisher.

It’s probably too late for the voice acting, but I don’t think it’s too much to ask for the lines to be rewritten in a patch, especially with such universal dislike.

This isn’t necessarily the final update, though; it’s the final MAJOR update. So, no 4.0, but there will probably be a 3.1. Still room to add some new powerups, increase the limit of Super Worlds you can upload, stuff like that.

I’d love it if, after finishing the game, you get to play through it again as Dad Nier. Or if they somehow combined the two of them in a way that I can’t think of.

Hmm. Rumors going around said there'd be an Indie World this week, then a general Direct next week. This gives them a little more credence. 

Nothing. Nothing is stopping you. Except... if you wanted to just steal the game like that, there are plenty of other ways to do it. Ways that don’t involve giving a company your payment info first. GOG sees DRM as what it is: an annoyance for consumers that simply doesn’t stop actual pirates.

Has Nintendo ever put an unrelated surprise in a single game focused Direct? I don't feel like they have. 

September for PC and current gen consoles, launch for next gen consoles? I’d be very happy to play this as a launch game on the Series X.
