I take that back. According to CNET’s review, it is a n-Trig. Still won’t work with a Wacom though. :)

No, believe it’s based on Synaptics technology, not Wacom or nTrig.
Try checking out Paul Thurrott’s reviews on these. He has done them on almost all (if not all, it’s hard to keep track) of the HP Spectre line over the years.
