You will never see another season as statistically ridiculous as Barry Bonds in 2004. You will never see a tweet with that skewed a ratio as Frei’s.
Japanese guy wins a race and this guy clutches his Pearl Harbors.
No more, I can’t take the pain of thinking its possible to be dashed again...
I loved the show. It was continuously gorgeous and horrifying, but I honestly don’t need it to come back. Go out on top, guys.
Sounds like it’s going to be a very schizophrenic movie.
And, like Arya, the show will stick us with the pointy end.
I think you also have to keep in mind that Hamill has gone on record as saying that he wants to play Luke as a bad guy, and I honestly think that that’s not keeping true to the arc the character played out in the original trilogy. Hamill may be coming from a “this is what I would like to do as an actor” more than…
Nah. Screw that. I’ll wait and see. Just because one guy doesn’t like what’s been done with the character doesn’t mean squat. Granted, that one guy is the guy who plays said character, but he’s still one guy and one guy’s opinion. For all we know, he likes mushrooms on his pizza, too. I hate mushrooms on pizza.
Right — no matter how pure his reasons or intentions, it’s simply not a great look that he’s been in hiding and seclusion all these years while the First Order has grown. There’s no real way around that.
I agree. I don’t see this as Hamill saying “Luke wouldn’t do these things” so much as “I wish Luke wasn’t doing these things”. A subtle difference perhaps, but a character’s choices serve the story.
I’m not crazy about what they’ve done with Luke so far or where he seems to be going, but at the same time I think they didn’t have a lot of options with him unless they wanted to tell a completely different story — one where Luke and the Republic were all doing great and we see the seeds of the Sith order reforming.…
The whole universe sounds like a dumb idea.
Teammates privately seem to want him exposed
Far be it for me to criticize Richard Sherman, but if he’s still going to be grumpy with Wilson about SB 49 he might want to consider that they had a 10 point lead in the 4th quarter of that game and his number 1, bad-ass, we-never-take-blame-for-anything defense couldn’t hold it.
This truly is a mystery. And like any good mystery, the butler did it.
I feel like some of the kick of Rogue One, though, is knowing the impact / importance of whats going on. The value of getting the plans, the fact that they end up in Leia’s hands, the impact of seeing vader, the fact there aren’t jedi and the impact of chirrut’s blind(haha)faith in some mystic power...it all leans…
I’m not really proposing it in relation to cannon, but I feel it is very much a “modern” movie and would help bring in viewers (like kids) who would groan at the proposition of watching a movie more than 10 years old. If it’s someone who is older, and hasn’t seen any Star Wars movies yet, then they clearly have…
His Wikipedia has already been edited. Beautifully.
LOL are you fucking kidding? The campaign is pissed they can’t use this in a Gianforte campaign ad! This would seal the deal.
