If the cars are alive, is it attempted murder when one car wrecks another?

It’s honestly hard to decipher what your point is - are you arguing that Deadspin should never criticize a public figure like Berman, because he’s a human and has loved ones would could tragically die someday for reasons entirely unrelated to the site’s criticism of him? Or are you arguing that they should ridicule…
Hi from Florida! Currently our delegation probably can’t compete with others of these: Marco Rubio is a spineless weasel and who barely shows up for work and has been running for president, in word or deed, almost literally the entire time he’s been in office, but Bill Nelson is a perfectly tolerable - if uninspiring…
Basically, one of our two political parties has built its entire ideology around the notion of personal responsibility, which, in its most-insidious form, is interpreted by adherents to imply that a person’s status is solely the product of their own work ethic, focus and determination; put more simply, that the poor…
I definitely thought it was better, funnier and more emotionally affecting than the first one, which I greatly enjoyed. The simplicity of the first film’s plot has always bothered me, so the new one was a big step forward in that regard, too.
I actually was referring more to DC fans, truthfully. As to your other point, god forbid an opinion piece (like a review) be titled in a manner attempting to influence opinions, I guess? Like, of course it’s an attempt to influence opinions, it’s, um, an opinion! What do you imagine reviews are for?
Because of course, if someone disagrees with io9 it must mean they’re incapable of seeing or accepting the flaws.
I’m also a Mets fan for the same reason, and I’ll never stop asking myself the same questions. My dad still watches every single minute of every single game, no matter how bad it gets. I can tolerate significantly less.
meh
I’ve been on i09 for a great deal of time and I’ve never once felt that way. I have, however, encountered plenty of fans unwilling to admit the validity of i09's criticism, or so hopelessly in the tank that they are incapable of seeing or accepting the flaws in the series and movies they love.
I haven’t seen this one yet but to put it near the low point of summer or even the year’s cinema, well, you’re giving the current studio system a mite bit too much credit there.
If Neill Blomkamp was ever the best hope to save this series, maybe it would be better to just let it die.
Yeah, I don’t think Dom means they’ve been hunting for the literal second coming of Joe Namath in terms of play, talent or production. I think the phrase “search for Joe Namath’s replacement” just refers to the team not having a stable long-term starter at the position during most or all of the time since Namath…
I love this idea, but have a pedantic issue with it: But why would he look like modern day Kurt Russell? Ego would have been on Earth decades ago. It’d make (some degree of) sense for him to have co-opted the appearance of someone he saw there, but why would that facade age?
Not to be all Justin-Timberlake-as-Sean-Parker on this, but it really should have been Circle, not THE Circle.
If Vader has a spare why not Vader having a spare cloned body in his castle that awoke when his mind transferred into it as he died?
Give Darth Maul more to do
That’s my guess: Thanos (using the mind gem?) discovers that they’re secretly in love with each other and (using the reality gem?) temporarily makes Vision human to give them a tantalizing glimpse of the lives they could have together, in an attempt to trick them into betraying the Avengers.
It’s the fact that Superman did not give a shit about anyone but himself through the whole movie.
