The LA Times poll, as I’m sure you know, has consistently had Trump ahead of his national average by several points. And because it’s a tracking poll that repeatedly surveys the same 3,000 voters (unlike most other polls) it is likely to remain this way, and is hardly proof of your original claim that “the polls

Hillary might have won the dabate, but how come the polls didn’t change favoring her with significant increase?

You seem to think this extremely pedantic distinction - which, for the record, is not particularly important to this discussion - is very important to this discussion. But credit where it’s due...

Last week, Knicks president Phil Jackson said the team is “not concerned” with the civil lawsuit against Derrick Rose.

Last week, my mom sent me a text comparing Ryan Fitzpatrick to Tom Brady. This week, she and my brother were debating whether he’s just as bad as Mark Sanchez, or worse. Oh, and during the preseason, my dad earnestly compared Bryce Petty to Tom Brady. These are people who have been watching football every Sunday their

If that had happened in a movie, you’d never believe it.

Entirely possible!

At least you guys got the Cassel year.

I originally typed “beat the pants off,” which would have been a shameful missed opportunity.

As a Jets fan, I’ve suffered a great many indignities, from the Buttfumble, to Tebowmania, to Brett Favre’s penis.

Yeah, a genuine surprise seems almost impossible [grandpa voice] in this day and age!

I suppose Comic-Con also could have been told it was his Netflix schedule, to preserve a surprise appearance on AoS... but that’s probably more effort than it’s worth and could have been as easily accomplished by leaving out the Netflix part entirely.

Eh, or they’re not.

It was a pretty minor role in Civil War (one scene, I think?) so I’m actually glad they’re willing to use her again. Why cross off a talented actress forever, just because she had a minor part in the series already?

Re: Assassin’s Creed, I could never for the life of me figure out why the present day stuff was in the game at all.

Eh... I think a ban would only make things worse for the league (which is proof that it’s exactly what Goodell would do.)

This is all fair, though I wasn’t really referring to player salary as much as some form of support for their cause. I also was presuming that an audience dip wouldn’t be the new normal; rather, I’d imagine Goodell would agree to quite a lot to get half his audience back. And I guess I’m skeptical that half of

It’s too bad those poll respondents are liars, because this protest could have one hell of an impact if the players could actually threaten 44 percent of the NFL’s audience simply by kneeling. They’d finally have some actual leverage over the league.

The Kenobi movie staring Ewan McGregor is too obvious and easy and perfect NOT to happen, right????

1,000 percent disagree.
