No issues with her putting alien believers on her pod. Big issues with her just this past week putting scumbag Matt Walsh on. I was a fan of hers in IC even thou she didn’t have the best rep with fans. She got made fun of by other drivers in her last years as a racer for her weird health/holistic beliefs but since

Are you saying privatize the profits and socialize the losses is wrong?

Sadly, they are hardly mutually exclusive.

Uncharitable comment deleted.

The kind of crap she’s peddling just makes the world a worse place for all of us, but sure, she’s a genius for doing so.

Yeah, I’m way more happy to hear these people focus these theories on stuff like UFOs, Bigfoot, The Lochness Monster, etc. than having to hear yet another tirade from someone about shadow governments, Big Brother, and the Giant Global Conspiracy™.

The Ahera looks like what the Dodge Intrepid would have evolved into if M-B had kept their hands off Chrysler.

Unless you plan to be a Starship Captain, you shouldn’t need to see what is on the wing.

They don’t make roll-in accessible.

15 minutes if there’s a free spot. If there’s a line at the gas pump, it’s 3-5 minutes per person in front of you. If there’s a line at the charger, and you’re lucky it’s all Ironiq 5s, that’s 15 minutes per person in front of you. It’s probably not Ironiqs though, more likely Bolts that take what, 40 minutes to get

Compared to an ICE vehicle? Compared to the fuel savings?

“For all the stupid that goes on at Tesla”

Unfortunately that is the direct result of Donald Drumpf and his “some very fine people” bull$hit. As a Halfbreed I am painfully aware that I am no longer welcome in the land that some of my ancestors have lived in for thousands of years...

The big problem with Accessible EV’s is that the electro-hydralic wheelchair lift will consume too much of the range. If you can wait a few years, then that will likely change, but currently you are better off with your ICE van.If you can add a trickle charger to it & use stable for the gasoline it will help two of

From the outside of the industry looking in, Tesla seems to have it together. Forget the entire Musk being Elon side, everyone I know that has a Tesla has praised it and there are visible easy to find Superchargers all over the place that seem to be in good working order in safe well lit and easily accessible areas.

That tracks from my experience. For all the stupid that goes on at Tesla, the side that is devoted to planning, designing, and managing supercharging stations (down to how well lit they are and making sure they have steady traffic) seems like the model company. They always had very thorough and well engineered

This. Census says about 39% of the US lives in cities of 50,000 or more. That’s 128 million people. I think an awful lot of us are apartment and condo dwellers and a lot of us park on the street. It’s going to be a long time before we get enough chargers in parking garages and then along the sidewalks to let us top up

If you live in an area with heavy traffic, like many parts of California, the Cobra is probably not going to be much fun:

I love driving through rural backroads. Rednecks aren’t going to stop me from doing so. But I’d prefer to spend my rural country road time driving rather than waiting for my theoretical EV to charge while I get weird looks from the locals. The less time I spend stationary, the better.

That is infuriating. Nobody should feel unwelcome in public places in the United States. Rural back roads are some of the best drives in the country, and making them exclusive to white rednecks is a shame.
