Nah, please just never repeat that dumb statement again. I've seen it reposted a fair bit on Twitter recently; believe me, it's just as stupid every time, one that has no actual merit but only serves the purpose of taking Kanye down a peg or two.

I think it was left as a bit of a double entendre. It sounded like Charlie said either "dying" or "Diane" when he was choking.

No, you couldn't. Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a totally awesome title.

That "frustration and rage boiling" barely beneath the surface mixed with his vaguely forlorn facial expressions don't make him sympathetic to me. Quite the opposite actually—I've seldom seen such clear display of sociopathy.

Willy-nilly throwing around big words like "discourse," he's always eager to share new, exciting discoveries! Wouldn't surprise me.

Fuck you too!!

I've seldom wanted to vote a comment up multiple times than right now.

I think this is the best episode of the season (thus far) and in a long time. Witty writing, some cool shots, and a somewhat genuine sense of danger that built gradually but somehow didn't feel melodramatic. Plus I only groaned once (during the Damon/Elena stare-into-eyes-before-we-leap-to-kiss scene) so def best

This week in best Nolan quotes: "I always found the use of both the arms redundant."

I swear I kept looking at the randomly italicized "i" in "if the show's usual model is anything to go by" for ten mins, waiting for some clue to find a national treasure or even a joke. Alas, I give up.

08/12/1994? Why?! The first time I ever find out a character has the exact same birthdate as me, it's has to be the dumbest one. Of course! How do you just equate a stranger spelling out your date of birth as you walk by a gambling table to some happy-go-lucky coincidence, Charlotte?

I cried.

Kanye does largely put himself in the underdog position so his successes are more enthralling when he pulls through (which he hasn't really failed to, if I might add).

lolwut?

Wow, this show still airs? I watched the entire first season, I think, and while I thought the characters were largely likable even in their bad deeds, the acting was usually so contrived (ranging from bad to average) and the plot tended to be pretty cliché-ridden.

I felt like 1977 was so overproduced (and I even hate this word). It just feels chucked too full of syrupy-ness. To boot, it lacks of dynamics and good melodies. Also, like this one, he comes off as too misogynistic. It's cool to be angry at a woman because of a sour relationship, but it's annoying to use "bitch" so

Um, that's funny, cuz Love Hate is his best effort and this is his weakest (along with 1977).

Lol, really? It works fine for me.

Remember when The AV Club hated Vampire Weekend?

This is my exact same sentiment. Exact!
