Tim Urban, blogger, creator of Wait But Why, and explainer of Elon Musk was on an early season and finished like 7th, I think.

Plenty of "highbrow comedy" has been nominated in recent years- I would consider Birdman, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Nebraska, and American Hustle to all be comedies - but very little of the Brooks/Apatow variety, to your point.

I know it was just produced by Apatow, but Melissa McCarthy got a nomination for Bridesmaids and Mumolo/Wiig got nominated for the screenplay, so it can still happen.

If it wasn't "Don't Stop Believin'", something else would need to take the place of this song. The song that always comes on at weddings, or at the end of karaoke, and you can't help but get sucked into its generic, dumb happiness and sing along. It brings people with wildly different tastes into this togetherness,

I feel pretty bad that I'll probably never get around to listening to that Tobias Jesso Jr. album because by the time I'm over this surprise early Kendrick album I'll have forgotten he exists. Bad luck for the guy.

I love those Run the Jewels album covers. And for better or worse I don't think I'll ever forget Drake's staring baby.

Man, you really should listen to this more than once before forming such a dismissive opinion on it. An album this dense doesn't reveal itself fully on the first listen. And maybe the things you find annoying will grow on you, maybe they won't, but you at least need to give it the patience it demands before

Acknowledging one's influences openly is more of a central part of hip-hop than rock, I think. Still, I could do without the Tupac interview. I listened to it once and now skip it on all subsequent listens. This whole album is just so dense with ideas that if you don't like one of them there's plenty else to

Ugh this criticism. A work of art doesn't need to function in every scenario to be a great work of art. Schindler's List is a terrible first date movie. What's your point? I'm sorry that you can't flip burgers to nuanced thoughts on black oppression and self-worth expressed over technically stunning dark jazz-funk

Usually I would agree with you on too many reboots and not enough original ideas, but I think that:
a) the team involved in this is talented and creative enough that it has the potential to rise above "just another reboot"
b) more roles for awesomely hilarious women is a good thing, even if it needs to be packaged as a

Weezer's "The Sweater Song" is pretty much the same song as Pixies' "I Bleed".

Don't forget Wendy Koopa!

I'm pretty sure she meant equally talented as each other. Andre is equally as talented as Big Boi, Lennon is equally as talented as McCartney. And I'd agree with that assessment - in both partnerships each member brings something different and equally important to the table. No one is comparing Outkast to The
