I was a drunken half-Irish frat boy stoned out of my gourd, and my reaction upon first watch was, "This film is a fucking mess."

Second-tier Coens. At best.

Yes!

And several other films.

Kinda nice. I grew up 20 minutes from the Delaware border, and it is underrepresented on film. It only gets Goosebumps, Fight Club, and this.

Like Michael Douglas and "This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody)" in soundtracks/trailers?

He and Bronson Pinchot shine in First Wives Club, too.

I like the extra footage, but the musical cues are so much better in the theatrical version.

Donnie Darko and Garden State came out after I graduated high school. Love Darko, hate Garden State.

One of my favorite L.A. memories was celebrating my first Christmas away from the East Coast at the Beverly Hills Hotel and getting rip-roaring drunk with Harry Dean Stanton, whom I met at the bar.

I believe they said he was MP for Northampton.

I believe they said he was MP for Northampton.

Garfunkel and Oates denied anything happened with them. Could have been another female comedy duo, but that was the rumor.

I found the brunch very enjoyable, although the food wasn't as great as some made it out to be. Border Grill Downtown was a major disappointment. Weird space and location, OK food, overpriced (and trying to upsell guacamole?!?), but the drinks were strong and waitress hot.

Which of Feniger's restaurants did you like? Because Border Grill is nothing to write home about. Street was pretty good.
