Aden Young, as always, is doing a fantastic job with the character of Daniel. In his and Abigail Spencer's interview on the Grantland podcast, Aden said that his character basically was "kept in a box for twenty years" while the world he knew was "destroyed," and that Daniel was now tasked with rebuilding this world

There are certainly worse people who could ask you if you're using any coupons at the checkout.

I love when the interviewer sputtered a bit after saying "Amanda," and Abigail immediately jumped on him with "Exactly. Exactly!" I could just picture her laughing her ass off with that huge smile of hers. She's just wonderful. Granted it's not your typical first name, but I've always loved how "Amantha" sounds,

Please send me the required materials for membership application as well, if it's not too much trouble. Would love to join the club!

Aden Young is described as Australian-Canadian by pretty much every media outlet. As far as I know, Aden was born in Canada but left at an early age to live in Australia, where he then lived for quite some time (his mother is Australian). In this podcast and in other interviews I've seen, he seems to adopt a more

I tell ya, my pappy once told me this was no country for self-righteous, overly contentious men who burn bridges wherever they work anymore. *sigh* Life used to be simpler back then…

To my fellow "Rectify" fans (Rectifiers? Reckers? You know what, I'll stop…), Andy Greenwald did a podcast with Aden Young and Abigail Spencer to talk about the Peabody Awards, the origins of their work on the show, and what to expect from season three: http://grantland.com/hollyw…. And wouldn't you know it, Greenwald

"Drew…Drew…Drewbacca?"

Still a better gig than "Current TV."

"Oh, I wish I was illiterate so I didn't have to read that."

I know we like to make fun of Uproxx here on AVC, but their football blog Kissing Suzy Kolber did a bang-up impression of him in their "Celebrity Super Bowl Pickkake" segment: http://uproxx.com/ksk/2015/….

Susan Sarandon might not be young enough for the role. Did Hollywood give her the proper clearance?

Swing Vote 2: The Swing-ening

Oh I don't expect it to happen this year (though I'd love to be wrong), since it's a very competitive playing field. I just hope he at least gets a nomination before the series comes to an end. In terms of this year's likely nominees, I'd love to see Timothy Olyphant or Matthew Rhys come away with it. Though I

When you tinkle, is there a gun to your head saying "make it a good one, don't fuck up?"

"Sometimes your worst illustrations…are your best illustrations."

On second thought…don't ask him.

I fully support the "renew awesome shows before the latest season premiere" strategy here. Next up, can we get Aden Young an Emmy please?

Dude, don't even get me started on "Kissing Jessica Stein."

There had better be a mustache-clad Forest Whitaker as Clarence Thomas.
