What if the thing that snaps into the strap is a charging port? What if the strap itself is a battery? (or an extended one), and what if you could snap your watch off and snap it to a charger? Easier than connecting a USB cable to it.

Wow, I think it is one of the best looking cameras. Very stealth and pro looking. And as an owner of three previous versions, I can say that it holds up to time and use very, very well. My GRD 1 looks almost identical to the V.
I have owned 3 Ricohs. From the first GR digital, to the GXR and finally the GRD IX. They are all fantastic cameras with such good ergonomics and user interfaces that makes just about everyone else's feel clumsy. Check out the cult following these have, it's for a reason.
