Well, I’m excited to see this. It’s time for VR to have some infrastructure.

This is so cool. Thank you for the story.
I’m impressed. They will sell a butt-load of these - and I will buy one too.
Was a TON of fun. He scienced the SHIT outta that thing.
By FAR the best. People that haven’t had it can’t really understand either - and that’s an issue for Apple. But yeah, you’d have to pry my AppleTV away from my cold, dead hands. Hey, what’s up with the new remote? Back to the Future?
So, like a crappy version of Stadia?
Putin said that Russia would help him out on Cyber, so I imagine security will be top notch.
Wow, I thought the same of the book. Walking and droning on...
Why can’t his calling for the murder of two state officials be a crime? Especially when we know full well that the minions have and will do his bidding.
That’s the smokestack for the secret Nazi base.
Pretty nice - but you know what else is 6ft? A goddamn Bald Eagle’s wingspan! Come on!
Not really - it’s a Pro membership, so that will unlock about a dozen games.
I don’t understand why militarizing space is a good idea.
I just came here to say that Stadia is awesome. The experience has been nearly flawless for me - on my big TV, on my laptop and my work desktop. And the cool thing? I play the same game on all three - pretty seamlessly. So, call it a flop, but me and my buddies love it. And yeah, I’d say traditional platforms…
But... the Bald Eagles!?
The Harmy “Despecialzied” versions are incredible. They have painstakingly restored the originals and color corrected them.
Well, whatever... I opened up the box, connected everything, bought Assassin’s Creed and it played great. I think, regardless of whatever net speed hiccups there are, it’s an AMAZING piece of tech. I think there is a silent majority of players out there that are experiencing the exact same thing as me.
“Aside from that, and I know that’s where movie watching is ultimately heading, but services like these are litteral tragedies for movie preservation (and maybe consumers rights too, when movies you paid for will be removed from the service over stupid issues like loss of licence for...” Says no one about Netflix.
I have a Razer Blade and build all of my PC’s - so I get it, but Stadia is some really interesting tech.
I have a big DVD collection, but I still subscribe to Netflix, Hulu and Prime. I think the whole point is, you can play it on your laptop/PC, then wander over to your TV and pick up where you left off. Also, 1000 player rooms, watch a streaming game in progress and click to jump in, future proofing, etc.
