I do not discount this womans story, but I do find the timing interesting.

This isn’t really a problem with single-payer or health insurance, though.  The woman wasn’t rejected because she couldn’t pay for care.  This is about racial biases in healthcare, and simply switching to single payer doesn’t solve that problem.  That’s something that needs to be addressed directly.

As a completely unrelated sidenote, I completely get why presidents don’t investigate their predecessor’s actions while at the White House as there is that need for a smooth political transition. Once one of them makes that decision, it would create a precedent that would have truly destructive ripple effects.

I’m sorry, maybe I’m not reading the statement correctly and I don’t get that this is sarcasm, but this is just not true. Circumstantial evidence is still evidence.

The “problem” which no one seems to be addressing, is that several hundred students “departed.” With no idea about their potential exposure. This is yet again getting out of control. The 2020 campaign messages seem clear, and writing themselves.
