“From the day I first sat across the table from her, discussing why she should run for Senate, I knew that Elizabeth Warren was exactly the kind of person we need in office. She has run her campaign the way she has governed: with a clear vision for how to build a better America, a plan to put power in the hands of

I have absolutely no trouble believing that if the Democratic Party leadership has to choose between defeating Trump and preserving their intra-party power, they’ll choose the second without the slightest hesitation

Exactly. I am definitely team anyone but Trump, but damn it I don’t want another old out of touch white guy. Biden has shown himself to be a complete idiot on the campaign trail and in the debates, but yet still gets the vote of the elder Democrats. I just can’t. My whole senior citizen family loves him! I will have

The only reason for the candidate who ‘won’ Iowa and who placed third in delegates to quit prior to Super Tuesday was to ensure consolidation behind a single moderate candidate on Tuesday.

I’m sure Biden offered him something. (Probably not VP, but a cabinet post nonetheless.) And I’m disappointed Pete took the plunge

Good. I mean, Pete’s not a horrible person, but I cannot for the life of me figure out why he was doing so well. Why was he so far ahead of someone as experienced and accomplished as Warren? And if that’s an apples to oranges (moderate to progressive) comparison, why was he ahead of Biden?

I see no reason to not back Warren just to own the moderates.

This is terrible news for progressives. The only reason Pete would give up before Super Tuesday after ‘winning’ Iowa is to consolidate the moderate lane around Biden. It’s clear that the establishment is pushing Pete out prematurely because they’re terrified of Sanders.

Gotta love some very online neo-liberals who joined the cast of The View in defending Bloomberg and warning Warren to “be very careful” pushing him on this issue.

Mayor Bloomberg later apologized for handing Non-Disclosure Agreements to Senators Warren and Klobuchar prior to the debate, explaining that some old habits die hard.”

We did what she asked. And thank you. We’ve probably made the world better because of it.

I’m a long time Bernie fan, but I fear the term “socialist” will be used against him to the extent that people will be turned off and reelect Trump. And defeating Trump is my only issue. I think Warren may be more electable because of the wall of distortion coming our way from the Republicans over Bernie where they

I’m sooooo sick of the “she needs to drop out and endorse Sanders” people. She has EARNED her place in this race, and the very notion that this accomplished, talented Senator should drop out for any man is beyond exhausting.

If Warren does nothing else but destroy Bloomberg's candidacy, she will have performed a great service to the country.

Yeah no, the primary is not over, I don’t need the residents of Iowa and New Hampshire speaking for me.

This. The people of Iowa and NH didn’t want concrete plans, they wanted to gaze deeply into a candidate’s eyes over a pancake breakfast.

The idea that a woman signaling that another woman would “clean up” after an incompetent man’s horseshit as being problematic is a bit... huh... and flies in the face of reality that millions of people live every day where dumbshit men continue to lead while undervalued women struggle underneath them.

Oh the hell with it, I’ll leave it with you, and the only connection is we were both in college dating post-college men who had jobs. This is only very loosely connected to your story or to Valentine’s Day itself.
