Could not agree more. Very little action appears to grow organically from the deepest fears/desires/lusts of the characters anymore. It all feels very hacky. Arya makes no sense at all to me right now; she’s totally forgotten her raison d’etre of revenge unless Sansa snuck on her list somehow. And I’ll say it again:

Like Jack on the floating door, so too could Benjen have fit on that horse.

Fake news! There was violence on both sides between umps and players.

The white supremacists are trying to say that statues = history. They do not. They show who a society honors. There is not a single statue of Adolph Hitler in the US, and most people who know anything know who his history.

Not two shits I give that you regret it now. You should have listened to him the first time. He told you who he was.

Republican leaders are quivering in their foxholes while others are going battle for the country.

Loved Gylfi at Swansea. He will be very hard to replace. But he’s not leaving on the best of terms, and and if Swansea uses the money well, and if they get a little lucky during the window, they might actually be a little better.

Well said.

That little horse almost did a Valverde on that corner.

At some point someone needs to say Tyrion: Great Seven Heavens, you are a terrible war general. You got kicked in Meereen, and it’s happening yet again.

I’ve given up on the possibility that there’s any genuine humanity in Trumpamucci. In some people, basic humanity is quickly obliterated out by money, fame, and power.

Looks like Mitch is putting massive doses of failure on that poor hot dog.

He went all Commodius on poor Mitch McConnell, who looked like the cake he worked on all day just fell.

Now playing

Amateurs. Here’s how you call a basketball game:

It’s far too easy to say that Sky wins because they have more money to pay for great riders. I can’t find the budgets online for 2017, but here are the budgets for 2016:

It’s probably right well that Theon went Reek mode (well said) at that moment. Yes, there would have been some good drama in his death at the hands of Urine Greyjoy right there, but much more in a redemption narrative as the savior of his sister or some other heroic act (probably right before his lights go out). I

For me, he left an indelible memory of his performance in the Sopranos. Great work from a fine actor.

You make it sound crazy. It is often the difference between winning and losing.

Urine Greyjoy really is the poor man’s Jack Sparrow.

What Sansa is saying is “You know nothing, Jon Snow.”
