@iphone_myphone: No. It is slow and ugly, which makes it more pathetic that it is ahead of Apple in this way.

@AlexJDA: What if the "emergency call" was to a family member such as children or a spouse rather than 911?

@vinod1978: I doubt this software will be very intuitive.

@vinod1978: You are saying stress would not change your voice and facial expressions as well?

@Maave: I can do the remote tracking, locking, online backup and wiping on my old windows mobile phone using free software.

Correction: Apple will now be monitoring users' faces, heartbeats, voices, and behavior.

@Gary_7vn: When they stopped twitching. :)

I once took apart one of those 360 HDD's you stick on top. It was a Fujitsu laptop hard drive. I think the only proprietary things about it were the converter and file system.

@FrancoVS: Well, if the hardware can run heuristic algorithms on active processes like I think they plan on doing, it would be a nice added layer of defense. Though I, and most other people here judging from the comments, don't want it integrated into the CPU where you would be stuck with it wasting processing power.

@Elak Swindell: Used to have CA (meh, pretty crappy). Removed it and replaced it with a combo of Security Essentials, Panda Cloud, and Immunet Protect (just for good measure). Zero noticeable problems so far.

@chodaboy19: Could someone please explain to me how Linux and Unix kernels are more secure than DOS?

@AlmightyRenegade: If you hit is wrong, you can still chip a diamond....and then you are REALLY screwed.

@sondun2001: yes yes. clearly this would never work for a multitude of reasons and my chance for glory has been ruined *sob*

@openfly: huh. Didn't know that.

@Jimmy1: Bastards. Why am I not surprised.

@moonshadowkati: I think the diapers are more bonkers than hardcore.

@LittleJon: I'll keep that in mind the next time I beat my dog

@Jimmy1: Actually, I meant a program FOR developers.
