Meanwhile in Canada....

This is true in Canada as well, especially around my area (we were called Berlin until the first world war). We had a large German population and it’s roots are still present till this day (we have the largest Oktoberfest outside of Germany). Many Nazi’s came here and our country after the war and it wasn’t hard for

Because some people don’t like coffee?

You are being extorted as data caps are nothing but money grabs. Data costs ISP’s nothing and is not what you are paying for when you purchase internet services. You are paying for access to the ISP’s bandwidth. They institute data caps so they don’t have to update their infrastructure or purchase more bandwidth (at

Those were private member’s bills, Harper cannot stop anyone from bringing those forward. At most he could try and kick that person out of the party but that looks really bad and they could cross the floor. He had a majority government, he could have made abortion fully illegal if he wanted. He was a douchbag,

Not just me calls it left of center. That is what the general consensus is within Canada. Anyone who follows our politics closely, calls us a left-center or center country.

Yeah but the difference is Rob Ford could slightly fuck up Toronto...Donald Trump would have access to nuclear weapons and be in charge of the most powerful army in the world. Also, it’s not so much the electoral issues you guys have, it’s more so that a large portion of your country actually thinks voting for Donald

Came here to post this. Such a great series and it’s eye opening to see just how senseless and horrific the Great War was. WW2 had a purpose, it was one way of life vs another, fascism vs freedom, etc but WW1 was just a clusterfuck of alliances, dick measuring, and attempted empire building.

Now playing

While WW2 was brutal in it’s own right, WW1 was a little bit worst. You have to remember WW1 was the first ever modern war. Most of the people in charge saw war as still a glorious and Honorable thing, something that gentlemen did. They were not prepared for what new technology would do to the modern battlefield.

They thought they just got a bad batch of batteries. You have to remember while some phones caught on fire, the majority were fine (we’re talking a few dozen cases at most out of millions of phones). More than likely they just increased their battery quality assurance testing and didn’t do much else except blame

This isn’t news, the headline might as well read “Affleck’s PR team does job”.

Yes, we should.
