I feel like all we are is our weight. Every magazine cover has some female celebrity talking about gaining/losing weight. It would be nice to pick up a magazine and not see one reference to weight.

@knightgee: Drug addiction and bankruptcy are serious worries for Lindsay right now but she's not the only person with issues. I'm basically saying that the general public isn't worried about Lindsey because THEY have bigger worries—job, economy, healthcare..etc. not that Lindsay's problems aren't big.

She's a grown woman. You can't force help on someone who clearly doesn't want it. Most 23 year olds have bigger worries like finding a job and paying bills. Why should anyone be more concerned about Lindsay than Lindsay?

Just realized, with an executive order from the president and prominent Dems speaking out against abortion, the Repugs just lost the chance to grandstand on one of their meal ticket issues.

I hope there is security on the grounds after passage of the legislation. All the closet KKK members—excuse me— teabaggers are going to go ballistic— some of them might be armed.

I think the grandstanding was part of the deal to get their votes. Let them give their dumbass speeches and pander to their constituents in exchange for votes.

I think people are being overly sensitive here. Referring to a child as having been chubby when she was younger is not the same as calling her a heifer today.
