Someone please tell me why accomplished women are expected to address their weight in major interviews? Whether its their feelings on being fat/thin or the "pressures" of maintaining body image women are constantly expected to talk about their bodies.

I disagree that Heidi isn't to blame for Spencer's comments. Like Star Jones pointed out she is right there alongside him profiting from it. I have never heard Heidi chastise him for his comments about other people. She gleefully went on the media trail helping him spread false sex tape rumors about Lauren Conrad then…

Honestly if prohibiting funding for abortion will get the bill passed so millions of unisured Americans can afford coverage I'm all for it.

Unfortunately "strong" female in Hollywood usually means Angelina Jolie wielding a gun while looking sexy. "Strong" women on film have become trite and cliched.

I get tired of being told what I should want to see. Maybe some of us weren't in the mood for warm fuzzies or grrrl power. I like all manner of flicks from mindless action to indies. I'm still not sure what made me want to see Slumdog Millionaire versus something like Julie and Julia.

Can someone please tell me where this mythical "liberal media" exists that Republicans always refer to? Conservatives own the media. It's frightening how they have been able to leverage this power to set the media agenda and drown out the voice of the majority.

The real danger is that the media continues to give disproportionate attention to these extreme fringe views. Most Americans back the Presidents policies but you would never know it watching any news network.
