Dear Spectra,
Somewhere in Rhode Island, there is an equally baffling Protégé limo.
Not to speak for her, but Stef occasionally requests crossovers and SUVs so she can tow her racecar. You often find her writing about it in the reviews. Our Austin writers, including Stef, were busy for the Austin Veloster drive, so it came to me.
OK, there is something mostly unrelated to the content of the review that I would like to get off my chest. Why did Ms Schrader review the Subaru Ascent and Mr Westbrook review the Hyundai Veloster?
I’m here to defend the Festiva. Great car.
For this instant I feel everything is right with the world.
I’d imagine the dealer was insured got paid, and the car then belonged to the insurer? So maybe the insurer didn’t feel it was worth paying the impound fees for a 25 year old car that was abused and then abandoned for decades, just to cart it off to auction?
Which is fundamentally different from “Handsy”...you shouldn’t be this
I love this guy. He is the real life (Russian) Red Green.
David Tracy Angel: Buy it anyway so you can wrench on it.
Lets really add this up:
I love the idea of this (a reliable turbodiesel driveline in a small 4WD pickup) but the implementation does fall short of the mark. If everything were working and not leaking - and if it had a metal pickup bed - it would be tempting to contact the seller and negotiate. As it is, IMO the price is too high to justify…
