It is indeed. I'm sitting in a dark room nursing a baby, firing off comments on my phone . . . It makes for some fun typos!

He was so massive back in the day. Brooks was the reason why most country artists got paid in the 90's. Man's sold 100 million records over his career. He sounded contemporary but respected the older guys in country for sure. Plus, anyone who had the guts to try and release an album like Chris Gaines gets an upvote…
It was a huge thing among people who liked country when it came out. I was like 11 but I still remember hearing about it. I think it was banned from TV play for awhile.
He had a dong in the nineties...
I don't think the fact (can we call it a fact? Unless the kid is a genius I think we can) that the kid didn't type this makes it any less super-cute.
I know my niece could have typed something similar in content if she had a computer (she's 5) but there's just no way a kid that little would type it up in that format. It'd be way messier- incorrect spelling, less punctuation, etc.
He's an Obama supporter who's performed at gay rights marches and written songs about what the world would be like if there wasn't any bigotry or poverty. And he's pretty much always been public about that sort of thing, even back when I was a kid and he was at the height of his career.
I think he definitely means to be an ally. Is he doing the right thing? I don't really know. But this isn't an attempt to pander to conservative fans. I mean, Brooks performed at Obama's inauguration, which is not really something you do if you want to court the Tea Party crowd.
he's a very stand up guy. He was one of the first country musicians who came out for gay rights so the fact that he cares about black rights too isn't surprising to me.
Brooks is actually known to be a liberal. I don't know much about his stand on racial issues, but he's been on board with gay rights since the early 90s, when a ton of people who weren't immersed in country music had attitudes that probably embarrass them these days.
I bet that asshole, Chris Gaines, will be performing in his place.
I am currently adding this to my OKCupid profile. ("Looking for: cheese, robots.")
I'm pretty sure this would work on me at 34. YES to cheese, sir. YES to robots.
Probably less than a women would get - but then he was actually stabbed multiple times.
As a long time retail employee of a big box chain, this is too real.
Wait, but- I thought catcalling was just a compliment, and that women who felt threatened by it are being silly, because people who are catcalling would never actually do anything! My little lady brain is all confused now....
When I read the headline I made a flippant "ByeFelipe" comment to myself and now all I can think is "Jesus, take the fucking wheel already!!!"
...Alright, but can you tell us what he was wearing. I mean, was he just all out there, asking to get stabbed?
If women don't like catcalling why don't they just stand up for themselves?
