Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha. So Trump is going to get himself impeached trying to smear Joe Biden with fake bullshit about Hunter, and then Hunter goes and does this fuck up for real, and for free.
I think it’s notable that this story was written by Richard Lawson (his first cover story for VF), who started his writing career as a Gawker commenter. I’m old enough to have followed his career when he moved up to paid Gawker writer, then TV and movie reviewer for Atlantic Wire before he landed at VF. His American…
Trust me, she is 100% going to prison. The DOJ is not going to let her off at this point, not when they just sent some other rich guy to federal prison for six months. That is not the way they do things, and the case against her is strong enough that nothing is going to save her.
They’re pleading not guilty. Apologising would be an admission of guilt and could be used against them in court. Sure they’re assholes but the lack of apology is logical when you’re claiming to not have done the thing you’re accused of (even if everyone knows you did it).
And I’m sitting over here, getting in arguments at dinner every few months saying we should decriminalize all narcotics including heroin.
And Obama basically said we’ve made all the progress we need to since ‘08.
This whole episode was amazing. Harry Styles has great comedic timing, fabulous androgynous fashion, and can wreck me anytime. Yep. I went there. Not sorry - he can.
He’ll be the most famous person in the room until he croaks.
I mean I guess it depends on the room, but yeah he probably is.
I’ve been needing something to get me out of this funk & I have a feeling this book will do the trick :)
The premise had a ton of potential and it was cute and all, but man, the execution was lacking. I feel like another movie is needed to explain
how the people who remember the beatles exist and why all the other crap like Coca Cola and cigarettes are missing
But at the same time, it’s probably not…
I was entertained for a good chunk of its runtime — mostly because Patel was engaging — but boy howdy did it fail to stick the landing. Or, rather, landings — cuz the final concert was exceedingly lame and the resolution to the love story turned a woman who’d felt like an actual person into a cardboard movie…
Exactly. But it also must have been weird for McCartney to contemplate a world where John Lennon lived a long and seemingly happy life because he had never been famous.
There are a couple of things to bear in mind about the actual votes. One can argue that the edit is being manipulative, but given the heavy emphasis put on Dan’s actions, it doesn’t make all that much sense to then lie about the motivations.
have you looked at ANY of the responses online to this episode? universally people are siding with kellee, janet, and jamal. i come from a very conservative family and even they all agreed that dan is gross and missy & elizabeth acted reprehensibly. i think you’re creating a strawman w/r/t viewers of the show. the…
If what we see on Big Brother is common there’s a lot of racism and sexism on these shows that the producers just edit out.
